This tour was 5 star. Phil provided excellent commentary between the stops and allowed us to experience the wine of Martinborough and the wild coast of Southeastrrn North island. It is a long day but well worth the time spent t.

This is the second 1/2 day wine tour we have done with Zozo, and would recommend .We were picked up at the arranged time and visited 3 wineries. Only one winery , which was the one we had our meal at, was the same as last year. We called at a cheesery on the way back to Wellington
We enjoyed the trip and our driver, Simon, was very knowledgeable about the region

Aaron was wonderful. He shared NZ and Wellington History, told us many stories about his family, and the food scene of Wellington. He even recommended a restaurant for our last dinner in NZ, that turned out to be the best meal we had in the whole country. Could not recommend the tour more! Cheese, chocolate, and wine…what else does one need in life??

We had an outstanding tour of Martinborough with Aaron our tour guide. We leaned so much about the history of the area, wines and restaurants as Aaron is a trained French chef! C’est Cheese had the most delicious cheeses. The Brie and blue cheese literally melted in your mouth. The slightly spicy cheddar and gouda were equally as delicious. The vineyard, Poppies, that we went to was gorgeous. The wine and food were top notch. Finally having dessert at Schoc was a sampling of 10 different chocolates. What a great way to spend the day!

Phil was knowledgeable, fun, provided great commentary and fit so much into this day. Phil grew up in Wellington and had a deep knowledge of the area. Our group was surprised how much he fit into one day. All the stops were enjoyable. The day exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a special day!

Would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone. A perfect mix of good food, good wine, a big variety of scenery and seals in their natural habitat. Our guide Philip could not accomodate our wishes more and has a great sense of humour and gave interesting commentary throughout the day. An ideal way to get a taste of NZ in just one day out of Wellington and great value.

We did a half day tour and were picked up exactly on time. Our driver Kelvin was very friendly and informative and a great driver. Saw some nice countryside and winery region. We visited 3 wineries and had lunch at one of those. The food was lovely however we didn't get much information on the wines. They were busy and our host definitely was not around too often. However the tour is lovely and would recommend if you're looking for a half day tour.

The 2nd wine tasting stop where you had your lunch would have been busy and the wine tasting was stretched out over the length of time in which the group had it's meal. Possibly that is why it felt like a lack of attention? Regardless, thanks for the feedback and I'll work with Kelvin and the winery to make sure it's not an issue going forward!

Excellent half day trip to Martinborough, we visited a cheese factory, had wine tasting and a beautiful lunch at Moy Winery then a chocolate tasting stop. Our guide Aaron was wonderful, he had some much history and knowledge to share during the day. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable

It was a brilliant, full day excursion. Great vehicle. Phil, our guide was knowledgeable and informative in all sorts of ways, in a relaxed and humorous way. Great countryside, coastal part was stunning. Wine, chocolate, and cheese tasting was excellent, as was lunch - what a platter - and dinner. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a very nice tour and Philip Mildenhall was a great tour guide. We hit many unique areas that we would not have seen on our own. Wine tours were great as well as the food for lunch and dinner.
The one complaint would be that it is a long day on some windy roads but well worth it in the end. There were 7 of us (plus Phil) in a regular van which was tight.
