Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took me a while but have found them all (except the one by Shed 5 as that seems to have been removed- possibly damaged I guess)- I printed the map and had it in my bag so when I would walk the waterfront area to meet my Husband after work I would see if I could find a few each time.

Doubt we saw them all but it was fun to spot the sayings while walking around the harbour. Some are on benches some on concrete slabs.

We were staying by Courtney Place and felt like a stroll on a lovely Saturday morning so took this walk along the waterfront. What a feast for the eyes. Lots of interesting and funky artworks along the way and very accessable with wide walkways. We also went to the Underground Market, Frank Kitts Park, the Civic Centre and crossed the City to Sea Bridge as part of our walk. All a must do experience I think.

We take the train or drive to the city and enjoy this walk immensely. The harbour is beautiful. There is always so much going on. Every time we go we find something we have missed on previous visits. There is much to discover. The container shops at the south end are a welcome diversion as are the market stalls when they are open. A great place to walk the dog too. Icecream and coffee availablee and a fast food stall or two too.

Along Wellington’s waterfront, the Writers' Walk is a voyage of discovery. As you stroll from the fabulous Te Papa Museum to Frank Kitts Park you will come across a series of 11 plaques with unique pronouncements commemorating New Zealand’s authors, poets and playwrights. There are also other benchmarks with further sayings of significance. You can get a map of the locations at the library but it was fun trying to locate the different plaques without any help....

Visited Sunday 11th September. Discover 23 tributes to this city by the sea, amazing typographical sculptures dotted unexpectedly along Wellington's Waterfront Walk. Great for children who can try and locate them as they walk along.
