It was a good experience because Wellington is gorgeous not because their service. The experience with their staff was very bad. I got told people who pay full price are given a choice of seat (they had given me a deal). Then when I ended up paying full for my flight I asked for that choice and I got treated very badly by one of their staff who raised his voice and started an argument. He started changing rule i.e., couples get a choice and you need to hire entire helicopter etc. This while it's wrong, could have been told nicely and without being rude. This ruined my experience. I feel differentiated. Yes they gave me a seat of choice because some of their customers didn't turn up (of course) but by then this had ruined my experience. There is no other helicopter service in Wellington so unless you really want to go for a ride, I would suggest avoiding. (@Business owner , you can verify this entire conversation on your webcams)

This was the most wonderful 80th birthday present flying over beautiful Wellington and then all down Wellington's wild south coast then back across the city. It was a very windy Welly day but Dai was a great pilot making sure we were all safely seated and buckled in. I felt completely safe and secure. A real bonus was being able to land near Karori Rock light and disembark for a short walk around.

My husband and I are in Wellington for a long weekend. Dai took us out and allowed us to see parts of New Zealand we would not have seen from the ground. He was a great tour guide who knew a lot about the local area. Highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing experience!
I took my 3 year old nephew on the South Coast trip, and we both loved it.
The team are really helpful with the booking, the checkin process is very simple and the pilot was great.
The helicopter itself was really nice, comfortable and a smooth ride.
Being a Wellingtonian it was such a cool experience to see it all from above.
Thank you so much to the team, especially our pilot as he made my nephew feel very safe and special.
Highly recommend and I am sure I'll be back!

Awesome Absolutely Awesome
Although it was an unknown confirmation right up until the morning of our flight, due to firstly having enough numbers to warrant the flight and secondary, making sure the weather conditions where right for the flight.
Once we got the thumbs up, an hour before flight time, the trip was fantastic
Don't worry about the confirming, the team, Dai and James where all over the communications and kept us very very well informed with prompt communication via email and text messages GREAT WORK Wellington Helicopter team!
The flight itself was just the best to see Wellington from a birds eye view
Then the flight along the coast line was just spectacular
Then the stop at the leaning light house with the seals 👍😀

Took a 15 minute flight around Wellington as a family group. Great focus on safety and ensuring we had a comfortable flight. What a great vantage point over Wellington. A really special trip.

Great to hear that the family had an enjoyable flight.
Safety is a primary focus of ours. As part of GCH Aviation we're the only NZ helicopter operator to hold a Diamond Safety award for over 30 years without accident to self, passengers or crew.
We hope to see you again sometime.
