Loved our trip out, crew were great, Skipper was very funny. Every effort was made to find the dolphins for us we went very far out and were lucky enough to find a pod of 80, plus the bonus of seeing a beautiful manta ray. Skipper very knowledgeable and it was obviouse he cared about the ocean environment. A very special family day out for us. Thankyou guys.

This trip was amazing. I've lived in tauranga for 35 years and learnt things I didn't know. Brandon and his team did the hard work and it paid off. We were In awe of all the wildlife we saw. My kids and husband and I loved this experience. Couldn't recommend enough

The positives: the captain and crew made every effort to find interesting wildlife for us - including going out to approx. 70m depth to a couple of reefs where wildlife is likely to be spotted. They do say there is no guarantee but we did see a couple of different pods of dolphins and some little penguins. The captain invites people up to the bow so you can see the dolphins up close - it was really fabulous. The biggest negative for us is that we spent $48 on 2 box lunches which were advertised as including two salads - a chorizo pasta salad and a cos lettuce salad. What we got was some goopy cold asian noodle salad and something with chickpeas and a cold green sauce. It looked very unappetising and we simply returned them without touching or eating anything. If we'd known it would be asian flavours, we would have brought our own lunch - which everyone else on the boat did. The other consideration is that it is a very long day - 9am to 3pm. If you enjoy being out on the water, then you'll love the day. But given we really only had 2 significant wildlife encounters, the kids and most adults were clearly bored and lying down sleeping. The boat is well set up with a top deck that gets plenty of sun (and wind) while the downstairs deck is well shaded but has windows you can open for pictures and a bit of breeze. Two flushing toilets are also on board! Staff were very friendly. Bottom line - would i recommend it? Yes, as long as you bring your own food and you're prepared for 6 hours on the water!

Thank you for an amazing day on the water. Such a helpful and informative crew and so accomodating for our young family (including 6 month old baby). Highly recommend this trip for locals as a great way to see our beautiful coast, stunning wildlife and support local business

Fantastic day out with Brandon & Izzy on Christmas Eve 2021! Both lovely people who are passionate about what they do. Izzy was fantastic taking care of everyone and making sure we were looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and got to see dolphins, penguins and a hammerhead shark. Would recommend! 😊
