We loved seeing the Hairy McLeary and friends statues in particular. Having the books for children since the early 1980s it's great to see characters immortalized like this! A terrific variety of play ground activities in the area!

This place is fun for kids, very close to the city and worth a nice stroll on the paved paths of the waterfront.

Came across these sculptures 'by accident' -they are so well done and attract all sorts of people -the children seem to love them! Another nice surprise in Tauranga
