Great quick walk and dog friendly. Plenty of big trees and changes every season. Innovative children's playground

It's said that walking in the woods is healthy and good for the soul. I can confirm that. I'm walking my three legged dog at least once a week in the park, and am always awed by the beautiful old trees, all well named with plates, and my dog is happy to meet with other dogs. There's a beautiful playground (dogs not allowed nearer than 10m.) and some water features, which are very soothing to just sit next to and listen. This is a free park, with car parks either in the park (Watch out drive in's closed at night), or parking on the street.

Beautiful park with very old trees and gardens, just a very happy place to go and explore. Playground and walking trails at the rear of park also I grew up in the area so it has given me some great memories.

Just beautiful is this lovely family park. The trees and garden beds are fabulous. There are BBQ facilities. This is also the start of the estuary foreshore walk of 1/2 hour around to Fraser Cove. Take the kids!

A lovely, well kept park that caters for young and old plus the fit and not so fit. The paths are the most used attraction as there are lots of users - solo and group walkers; responsible dog walkers; prams and wheelchairs; joggers; cyclists; skate boarders. There were also some people having their lunch and a few families eating picnics. A well utilised park with lovely trees, bushes and flower beds.

Beware do not walk around here late at night as some of the locals are not that friendly, the people are ok though.

This is a lovely park with something for everyone. From bush walks and historic specimen trees to a stream that tumbles from a small pond into a meandering rill to another pond and a thoughtfully conceived play area this park is for all seasons with beautiful views over the river along one of the walking tracks. One length of track is not for the infirm but there is a circular walk on good paths that suits all. The park is used by walkers, joggers, a small number of cyclists and those just out for a stroll. Lots of places to rest and picnic too.

There is a new Alice in Wonderland themed playground.
Water parks and public loos.
It's small but great with little ones (2 - 5)
If they could fence off the road, it could be better.

Delightful place for a family-friendly picnic or barbecue. A lovely unexpected surprise that we enjoyed with our grand-daughter.

I had been told about this place by my partner, and he did not disappoint in his raving about this place. It is a peaceful, serene setting and could be used for weddings or special occasions.
There's plenty of shading and some good picnic spots. There is also a lovely waterfall, but it's the type of waterfall that lends itself to a small rockery area.
Apparently, a lot of work has gone into this place. However, the only downfall is that there appears to be no toilets and it's a fair way to find some although they are available at Greerton.
I will be going back here again.
