Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a delightful little market to stroll around on a sunny Saturday morning. A good range of high-quality local products, cheery music and lots of happy, smiling faces. If you're a tourit in Tauranga on a Saturday why not check it out.

What an awesome market! Everything is fresh and displayed with love. The parking is easy and the stalls are nicely laid out. Great food options and plenty place to sit down and enjoy the music. Highly recommended.

A cool way to start your Saturday morning! Food, veggies, flowers, entertainment:) love this place! The coffee vendors use beans that are more on the mild side so we tend to stop at love Rosie or Elizabeth St Cafe to pick up coffee before heading in. Other than that it's a great place :)

We found this market quite expensive...some of the veg looked like they had seen better days. Having said that the dutch treats were lovely. I also ate a pastie which was hot and tasty (don't get the small ones as they are a bit dry) The frozen fish chowder was very runny with hardly any fish in it.
Overall it was a fun morning out just looking around...a point to note please please please make sure people are using toothpicks when sampling food NOT their grubby fingers!!

What is the big deal about a local farmers market. Usually not much. This one though was a worthwhile adventure. Could not believe the extent of wares, foods and such available. Walked away with creamy cheeses, raw milk and great veggies. Scored day old strawberries (two quarts worth) for half price, which happened to be right out of the garden. There is something for everyone here. People were leaving with full bags of goodies.

I loved this market with the buzz of the families, the elderly, couples with their dogs wandering around. Thoughtful bowls of water set out for thirsty pets.
Interesting produce that may not be available in any commercial shops. We bought a selection of lilies in a miriad of colours: purple, orange, yellow streaks so unique. We bought delicious coffee and sat with home baked biscuits "people watching" such fun!
Parking was hectic but well organised.

Hi
The market is overpriced and consists of very small number of farmer's that turn up. Hardly any stuff that you do not find in your local supermarket. You will find cheaper stuff and better quality if you go on SH 2 just out of Tauranga
Total waste of time this one

Tauranga's Farmers market was a great experience. There are many treats and treasures to discover. You'll enjoy access to many different foods and produce and friendly people. My wife and I came away with pastry's we used to get 40 years ago when we were at school and a few other treats.

Although small, quality (and taste) of the produce was excellent. Lovely way to spend a free hour when I visited. Interesting products.
