Lovely Animals
Jul 2021 • Family
Love this place! So many adorable animals to see. There’s a little picnic area and even a park so the kids can burn some energy if they haven’t already.

Great day at Marshall Animal Farm
Aug 2021 • Family
Wat a lovely day we had such lovely staff they were great in telling us the names of the animals and how the farm is set up where everything is the place was well posted for which animals you can feed or couldn’t (very few)

A great play area with lots of space to run around

We will be visiting regularly from now on as my son grows older

A few fun-filled hours for the children.
Jan 2021
Although the $14 per adult seemed a bit much, my grandchildren aged 10 and 12 really enjoyed themselves. There was plenty to see and do. Guinea pigs to cuddle and a flying fox to finish use up any energy left.

Great for all
Feb 2020 • Family
We recently took out nearly 2 year old son here and we all had a great time, so many animals to see and being able to feed them was great. Nice amount of walking around the place with great views at the highest point. Would for sure go again.

Very nice little farm park
Jan 2020 • Family
Visited the park with my 7 and 5 yo’s, enjoyed every minute. It’s not big so a couple of hours is more than enough. Suitable for strollers and toddlers. Make sure you buy lots of animal food so the little ones can feed the friendly animals.
When we were there these two clever goats followed us everywhere begging for food and picking up all the leftovers from every feed.

Fam day

Wow 😊 If you’re keen for a fun day with the kids I would highly recommend this place!
It was a spontaneous trip for us and we all had so much fun (even me) the staff were really friendly and helpful.

It’s not like visiting a zoo, you can pick up the animals, pat them etc. The animals were really friendly and gentle, loved the kids Patting them.

Also there is an up hill part about halfway through that says “Panoramic views” I noticed a lot of people weren’t going up there so we wandered up and wow it was amazing, so do it!

Wear old shoes because you will be stepping in poo and carry water with you. There are swings, flying foxes and picnic tables, also a cafe not far down the road.

Truely Excellent day out for everyone.

So found this via trip advisor and so while visiting family in Tauranga we decided to take our 2yo daughter to check it out.

It is nestled in Maclarens Falls and we were certainly not disappointed.

Animals are very well looked after and my little girl was so excited to get to feed and interact with many of the parks animals. Her highlight I think was feeding the deer which she adored.

We spent around 2 hours and bought a coupe of bags of feed; but Dad had to run back for an extra one in case the Emu's got "sad"

Worth getting 3 bags of the maize and once you're done make sure you don't miss the flying fox. We put our daughter in and carefully walked her down the path.

Apparently you can drive around the site but an easy walk for everyone of all ages.

In fact we loved it so much the first time I bought my brother and his children through 3 days later and it still impressed

Toilets and food on site (ice-creams too)

We will certainly visit again.

Queens Birthday visit

Took the grandie and his parents. First ime for me for about 25 years. A great stop for the family, especially if your children are under high school. 20 month old managed to walk all the way around and loved it. Deer eating out of his hands, the green parrot made him laugh with his antics, words and whistles, quick cuddle with the guinea pig and goats and their kids roaming around where so cool!

Fun for the grown ups too

My partner and I visited recently. We had a great time. Who needs kids to enjoy stuff like this! Lots of very friendly animals to see. Food provided for a $2 charge per bag (more than one bag required because you'll want to feed every single animal), Lots of variety in the animals. A good work out too as you walk up the hill (about 1km of walking up and down hill but mostly paved). Really enjoyed ourselves.

Talk to the animals
Jan 2019 • Family
Great day out for the children. Able to walk around at a leisurely pace and feed the animals (bag of feed $2.00) and pat animals in petting zoo area. There are pony rides- check available when arrive. Picnic areas avail as well as a play area. Recommend bring own refreshments- there is a store selling drinks and ice creams. There is also a bush walk at the entrance. Remember hats and sun block. Great day out recommended
