Having seen good reviews of this place I decided to go have a look for myself. Was pretty disappointed with what I found. There were some pretty parts, but the main road dominated most of the views making it not particularly enjoyable. There are much...More

Whether along the harbourside or around the estuary there is so much to take in on this beautiful walkway. Really easy to access from the city and suburbs. If you add in the Daisy Hardwick track you skirt the entire estuary. Take a stroll or...More

I walked with a group of walking ladies. There were people on cycles, people walking .. it's a fabulous walk. I loved it so much, I had professional photos of my two sons, taken there on the boardwalk

Long walk if you go right around, we stopped halfway and turned back took dogs on lead but no real places for them to have a drink. Limited places to stop to rest

Went their on my bike, lots of great track from the wide wooden Wood ways to the various gravel and dirt tracks. It is a very easy 10km round trip with some great scenery. Beginners and those not fit wouldn’t have any issues here.

The pathway around the estuary is a mix of gravel and boardwalks. It passes through bush and over mudflats with a small detour in one place to an information board about the estuary. I was also very impressed by the large number of boards along...More

Safe, fun and interesting walking for as long as you like or bike or take the dog for a walk. Even in the rain it is not muddy like some parks.

Don't get me wrong this is a wonderful and well thought out track, for cyclists. However, if you are walking the track you are on constant watch for speeding cyclists...You cannot walk in peace and quiet, instead always looking over your shoulder, if you have...More

I live in tauranga for the last 2 years and never did this walk - today it was the first time and I really enjoyed it. Perfect length, great for dogs and probably even better at high tide! We definitely will be back 😊
