This is the closest shopping centre for me so I come here most weeks! I find the clothing shops a bit limited, shoes are okay. The food court is great when we have taken grandkids to the movies and they want different things to eat! The cinema is excellent, very comfortable seating and we are now going there more. Worth a visit, there are a variety of shops, restaurants, supermarket on the same site just outside the mall too.

This new shopping mall has a great feel - lively, interesting shops well set-out dining areas upstairs in the Observatory and downstairs in the Garden Eatery with a fun childrens play-area outside complete with a slide and giant chess set for older children, outdoor beanbags to lounge around in.
We enjoy visiting the awesome cinema and trying out the different eateries. The shopping area is bright, light & airy, clean & tidy with good parking & security.
Highly recommend a visit. Always a busy & popular place!

It was an enjoyable place to explore. The mall has all the shops That I would go to. No need to go downtown as most shops are here. Nice and open and clean, staff are very pleasant too. One restaurant was disappointing, but the food court looks good.

This whole complex is exceptional. It's fresh, clean, modern and well set out! I've been here several times now and there is only one aspect that prevents my giving a 5 star review. The Muffin Break Coffee Bar on level. During your opening week, I appreciated that the manager might be stressed, so I forgave his rude response to a simply friendly comment I made. This past weekend, I went back and ordered a coffee and biscuit. I paid and collected the biscuit, and offered to wait for the coffee, but a lovely young woman said she'd bring it to me, and gave me the order number. I sat and waited, and waited, and waited. When I went back, I was told by the manager that my order number was not placed visibly so my coffee was sitting there, cold. I explained the order number was clearly visible to anyone who glanced at my table. Seems I was outside their 'area', and he retorted that It wasn't their job to deliver coffee to the whole mall! I'm a superannuitant with time and money to spend on coffees, but will I go back to his? No.

This new mall - containing both outdoor access stores and a mall will prove to be a highlight for all residents and travellers on this side of the Bay of Plenty harbour. Its convenient, got some great stores for shopping and a few great options for dining - takeaway or sit down.
One of our favorites is LOOK SHARP - an upscale $2 type of store that has heaps of costumes and party goods - crafts - helium balloons (although we find that very expensive) and generally just a fund place to browse or shop.
Pak n Save or course is NZ based so we happily shop there - besides we love the signage and the wee stick man jokes on the signs! Then we sit down at one of our favorite dining places - and watch the world go by. Only suggestion I have for the food merchants is to enforce the non smoking rule - if it says non smoking, then that's what it needs to be. Overall - a great place to pop by for a short visit, or a wander through all the new stores. Cinema will be coming as well - so all the conveniences of the öther"mall over the water - and so much easier for us to get to.

Hi Sheila, thank you for the lovely review that paints a good picture of who we currently are. I appreciate your feedback on the smoking policy as well. We will meet with the managers of the restaurants in The Millyard and ask them to be more vigilant. Come April when we open the next section of the mall (including a further 70 stores) we will also have full-time onsite security guards who will help us monitor this. Thanks again, we hope to see you soon!

Wow what a huge mall- beautiful and modern- fantastic play area for kids outside- looks like a scultural park so asthetically pleasing plus really functional- lots of shops to choose from- lots of food choices-tons of parking both under cover and outside- well worth a visit!

Loved the atmosphere and food. Will definitely be back. Delicious place to unwind went to something and social for a very enjoyable meal.

Tauranga's latest shopping experience. Two floors of shops and places to eat. Mostly shops are you the young. Gets very busy at weekends and holiday time.
