Russian ballet Swan lake

Маленький уютный театр в Тауранге, куда раз в году приезжает русский балет. It’s nice architecture, a pleasant place to look at and walk into. Has a bar so you can relax in the foyer with a drink on the couches. Parking is available all around especially if you look on Google maps b4 going there.

Manfred Mann Concert
Apr 2019 • Couples
We traveled from Australia to see this concert, my hubby is a big fan and as this is their farewell tour and they aren’t playing in Australia it was his only chance to see them.
The theatre was very comfortable and as we were in row B we had a great view. Seats good and not cramped in. As I was on the isle I could stretch my sore leg out.
The bar facilities were good and not too overpriced.
At the end he bought a cd and got it signed and could talk to the band. Which is where Mike d’Abo told him he saw him at the pub down the road and kissed my hand because I told him the song Handbags n Gladrags was one of my fave Jon English songs. An excellent experience! Thanks

Kelvin Cruickshank psychic from Sensing Murder

Group of 4 really enjoyed the evening. Baycourt staff were great- helpful and professional, service at the bar area quick and friendly. Only suggestions would be that the seating be improved - more leg room for those that are taller and also somewhere to place drinks, as every time somebodys glass fell over from being stashed under the seat as no where else to put it - Kelvin would stop and say "TAXI" which was funny but not for the person who had just lost their drink!! 🤗 Also, quite hot up near front of stage.

Russian Ballet

The show was amazing. The venue was great, easy to get parking, nice walk to town. The only thing was the fire alarm was set off by the smoke machine used by the show, lucky it was at the end, but we all ended up, pushed out in the rain. I think that maybe better air conditioning or something is needed as i had stinging eyes for two days afterwards as well

Pink Floyd Experiance
May 2017 • Couples
What a lovely little theatre. The seating was great plenty of leg room and total visability. We have seen Pink Floyd Experience before in Hamilton but we are not keen on Claudlands event centre so took a trip to Tauranga. great ticked all the boxes and the band itself what can I say AWESOME

Comedy show
May 2017 • Friends
Great size theatre, we were right up the back but could clearly see & hear all acts, show was over 2 hours long.
Comedians were great:
Hal Cruttenden, Ismo Leikola, Chris Martin, Jimmy McGhie.
Absolute favourite was Ismo!!!! He was the funniest.
Easy parking beside the centre.
Bar available before & intermission.
Only grip, chair arm rests too short & no where to put your drinks.
Easy entry & exits

Dance Competition
Jul 2016
Was here to watch my daughter in a dance competition. Excellent theatre. The stage is a good size and looks good for dancing on. The seating is of a good standard and has a decent tier to it so you get s great view of the stage.

They went the extra Mile
Jun 2016 • Family
My daughter and I went to see Kelvin Cruickshank at Baycourt this month. I am an amputee in a wheelchair, so the experience was going to be interesting and daunting, as the show was booked out, so there were many hundreds of people coming into the venue.
Our tickets were given to us by Kelvin from his previous show at the Tauranga Boys College venue in April, so we had to pick them up at Baycourt reception on the night. My daughter was able to wheel me into the foyer while she parked the car after getting me out of the car into my chair in the area allocated for the purpose. While I was waiting in the foyer, I was approached by the Venue Foyer manager, who introduced herself to me and advised me that I would be taken care of and taken to our seating area once the area cleared a bit. I immediately felt cared for and my apprehension that had built up due to the number of people and the night show, disappeared, from then on I was looked after, but not treated as a disabled person, which is a skill that probably only mature people could exude.
During the interval I used the facilities which were better than the Vector Arena in Auckland, which we visited for Cirque du Soleil.
Thanks to the staff at Baycourt, I had a very enjoyable evening.

Tight Leg Room!
Apr 2016 • Friends
Group of four attended the Sensing Murder psychic/medium - Sue Nicholson's show. Drinks were ordered from the bar area and we were directed into Baycourt's theatre area by efficient, friendly staff. We settled in for the 3 hour performance - after a while the very limited leg-room space became quite uncomfortable (especially for the taller members of our group). Also, a table or some sort of surface to place drinks would come in very handy - we noticed a number of people had tucked their wine glasses, beer bottles by/under their seats and during the night we could hear the odd glass being knocked over! Even an arrangement such as what the cinemas provide might prove more comfortable, safer perhaps?
