Viewing the Maori rock carvings is just something that visitors have to do. After all, they are NZ history. And it was a very enjoyable afternoon sailing the lake to view them in the sunshine.

A thing what you have to see when visiting Taupo. A great story behind it and a great trip to get here.

Good trip with Chris Jolly outdoors. Not asasthetic as some other vessels which were all fully booked, but good view of carvings and pleasant trip out and back.

We booked online via Sail Barnaby, cheapest among the ones we saw. Plus, they have online promos so we got additional discounts. Always better to book online rather than take a chance that there will be available slots. :D
