Incredibly powerful and exceptionally easy to get to and to enjoy. You are unlikely to get a quiet moment but you will be wowed by the sheer force of nature.

If you are in Taupo you must add the Huka Falls to your plans. I took my son for his first visit and he was blown away by the power and volume of water that is channeled through this natural marvel.

All the time's we've visited Taupo and didn't know that 3 times a day, water is released from the dam and flows down these rapids. Fantastic sight to see and will recommend to friends and family
