Great cruise with beautiful scenery

Had a very enjoyable cruise around Lake Taupo culminating with the beautiful Maori carvings. We appreciated the description of how they came to be. The Ernest Kemp was a lovely old boat beautifully restored.

Lovely boat ride on Lake Taupō to see some Mapri carving

Lovely 2hr boat ride to see some interesting old and newer Maori carvings. Friendly, helpful staff. Kids can meet the skipper and 'steer' the boat. I got to do that as a senior, just because I asked nicely!
I can definitely recommend this cruise for all ages.

It was amazing! Please do yourselves a favor and take the Ernest Kemp out to the cliff carvings! The capt. Was fantastic and very informative. The boat was very comfortable and stable. The water is so blue crystal clear and the carvings are magical!

What a lovely time! The boat ride was smooth and relaxing, and the carvings were really cool. I recommend this tour if you have a couple of hours to spare.

Amazing tour on a rainy sunday! What can we do, on a sunday afternoon, when its pouring rain. We also asked ourselves this question and without further ado went to the harbour and booked this amazing trip!

Really beautiful experience. Great tour guide and hostess. It's a beautiful lake which is more like a sea. Impressive rock carvings and a lovely boat (ship?}
