Wairakei Terraces is one of my favourite places to relax! The staff are all bright and friendly and the complex is very clean. The pools are hands down the best in Taupo! The water is amazing and you come out with your skin feeling just...More

I went there with a group of friends and it was a great activity when you do a road trip via Taupo. An adult only facility, so not suitable for family with kiddos. They have terraces of pools from the very hot pool on the...More

Very nice hot pools a short drive from Taupo city centre, no children allowed. The place is very quiet and good to rest after a long day or to give a break to your sore muscles. There's also an option to walk around the pools...More

Wing and his crew braved the rain and headed to Wairakei Terraces. It was absolutely beautiful. Deep, warm water in an amazing setting. Over 14's only allowed in. What's not to love.

The concept is good, we arrived expecting to pay a premium...but this is not worth the $25 each for what you got. We also made the mistake of not asking if there was a seniors discount. There was, but not posted, they said it was...More

Enjoyed our soak here, if you have 14+ kids or childless this is a quieter more civilised option than De Brett’s. However no private pool options it’s all public. Friendly staff. $25 per person for hot pool soak, lockers extra.

I enjoyed this experience. I wouldn't necessarily do the walk, unless I was perhaps picnicking in the beautiful gardens, or not visiting any other geothermal spot, but the baths - yes! I would buy a season pass if I lived nearby. Lovely place to soak,...More

We came for an evening soak and were not disappointed! The pools were so relaxing! Variety with temperature in different pools and all in a lovely setting. 14 years and over so not a place for children which made it a nice adults night out....More

About a 10 minute walk suitable for all fitness levels. Gorgeous terraces - definitely gives you an idea of how majestic the pink and white terraces were !! There’s also a mini geyser!

The Terraces walk is o so beautiful, certainly gave us a very good insight into what was the eighth wonder of the world "The Pink and White Terraces" IF ONLY Mt Tarawa did not erupt. The pools are are beautifully layed out with hot water...More

No tables I haven’t seen anyone eat there. I would suggest De Brett’s or AC baths both lovely places if you want to take a picnic :)
