    Wow fantastic park
It was great to go to the festival of the lights at night . It was wow they looks so pretty . The tea house was lovely but some things were expensive like a milk shake was over $9 when in any other cafe $5.50 . The garden and native bush are beautiful

    Festival of Lights
The Festival of Lights was great this year, we visited with 5 times over Dec/Jan with friends and family. Loved the free bus and the different entertainment was fantastic this year! When we went on Christmas eve it wasn't busy at all due to the weather, other times we went it was very busy!

    Perfect for a day outing
My partner and I had a lovely day out at Pukekura Park. Plenty of beautiful walkways that are wheelchair accessible with lots of places to sit and take in the sunshine. The pathways and gardens are well maintained with lots of activities to do during the visit. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. 5/5

    Top Notch
Coming from Singapore, I was very surprised at how good this park was. Very well laid out with easy access for all. We went when it was overcast and drizzly, all of which added to the beauty of the surroundings. A game of cricket just starting at the entrance was just the icing on the cake. A great half day out and a must for visitors..

Huge park, beautiful settings, dream visit if you like gardening
Excellent park with a huge range of plants and views to take in. I would definitely recommend taking the buggy tour first, and then exploring anything that piqued your interest at a slower pace. There is a lot to cover! The buggies are operated by volunteers who are quite knowledgeable, so well worth it.

An oasis in the middle of town, this is an extensive parkland with so much in it - gardens, lakes, cricket pitches within a massive amphitheatre, refreshments, concert area. Well worth a visit

We went to see the light show. The park was beautiful even without the lights! The light show was amazing! There were live performances too...all free!
