While there are many activities taking place in the park on a regular basis. Nothing beats wandering through the gardens, taking time to relax and enjoy a slower pace for a few hours.

This park is very accessible from the city. It also has a few features which could be classified as NZ cultural Icons such as "Poets Bridge" and the Rotunda. A must see if you come to New Plymouth.

Hi! My family will be in New Plymouth the first week in March and are looking for things to do. I was wondering if this park will still have lights that come on at night. Does anyone know? Thanks!
