Pukekura Park is a gem for the town of New Plymouth. It's fairly large park. We strolled around the park and into the Fernery...they have so many beautiful trees and plants all around the park...just beautiful.

Beautiful park, in middle of the CBD, good anytime, but the Festival of Lights from December to February is well worth a visit.
