Liked the live music and vibe of the market but fresh produce was very limited. A trip to the supermarket was still required.

This market is open every Sunday morning in the Huatoki Plaza. The stalls sell fresh fruit & vegetables. Some have fresh eggs , honey , fish or vegetable plants & flower seedlings. There are several coffee shops in the area so it's a nice place...More

Not sure what the correct timing is for the farmers market, first Sunday of the month in Currie St. What there was was nice enough, just not enough to make it a worthwhile enterprise. More support from stall holders needed.

All produce/items sold are grown/made by the seller. Great entertainment, most of the time there is a local band/entertainment at the market who is local.

it may be winter but that shouldn't make a difference. 6 stalls doesn't make a farmers market. Hopefully in summer the market is a lot better. but we wont be back until then

It took us a while to find these markets but well worth the effort. Great local stalls - organic meat, preservative free sausages, lard, fruit and veges, fresh fish, honey, nuts, coffee, jams etc. Fantastic live music the first week we were there. A local...More

Maybe it was the poor weather but there were around 8 stalls, for a city the size of New Plymouth pretty poor. We live in a medium size rural town about a tenth the size and can turn on a much better farmers market each...More
