The walk was great. Did it at dusk so could appreciate the views of the trees and as it got darker the beautiful lighting effects. My 13 year old grandson thought it was awesome as well. Good time to do it as we were the only ones there. It was getting busier as we finished as it was getting darker.

This is a great activity in the Redwoods high above the ground but very safe. Great views and very enjoyable. We did it during the day but I could imagine at night would be lovely to with the big lanterns. I felt it was good value for NZD 25 per adult. It wasn't busy when we were there and therefore... As the sun goes down the lanterns begin to glow! Beautiful walk high up in the canopy. Easy walking on the incredible structures working in harmony with the trees.

We went early morning for the treetop walk and it was bliss. No other people on the walkways so we had the place to ourselves. The walk was very tranquil surrounded by beautiful scenery. Would definitely go back, maybe for the night trial next time.

This is a great attraction to visit in Rotorua. The Treewalk is exciting without being too challenging for older or younger visitors. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

This walk, high in the trees, is only about 500m in length. It is $25 (adult) / $15 (child). We though that, for what it was, that was expensive. You do get information about the trees. However, a walk in the redwood forest is free and, for me, more enjoyable.

Hi Clive_C54, thanks for your feedback regarding your visit to Redwoods Treewalk. We're glad you enjoyed the forest, but perhaps not the treewalk so much. Occasionally we do run special offers and this reduces the normal rate, however, we're always striving to provide our visitors with the best value for money, with information panels along the treewalk and a Treewalk... Near Rotorua is a California Redwood forest, planted in 1901 with a tree walk installed about 10 M above ground. We went before dusk and enjoyed a 30 minute walk in the cathedral-like forest, then stayed at dusk to enjoy the lighted feature of the tree walk. Beautiful, artistic wooden chandeliers dot the forest canopy and twinkle lights emulate fairies... More

We did the nighttime tree walk which was fantastic. The way the trees were lit up and the lights were awesome. I wish we had also had the time to do the walk in the day - there is a good combo ticket to do so.

We went at 9pm once it was fully dark but I think this was too late as you couldn't appreciate the beauty of the redwoods. The night lights were truly spectacular and are not to be missed so I would recommend dusk to get the best of both worlds! They do offer a 2 trip pass (day & night trip... More
