1. Treewlak ALTITUDE
We joned the Treewalk ALTITUDE, the tour was wonderful. Our guide - Danny, Maisie and Kelsey were amazing women! Their enthusiasm to the redwoods is truly contagious. With their sharing, we felt connected with redwoods and cherish these beautiful botanic. Not to mention the spectacular views like a bird from the tree top. We actually had little birds flying around us. Recommend people to join the both entertainment and educational tour.

2. Nightwalk
Nightwalk was also amazing, with well-designed lights on in the dark, the redwoods presents a total different view at night, where can immerse ourselves. It's a must do in Rotorua!

We parked at the Redwoods Treewalk to see what it was about and found it has many (free) walking trails that are very well marked and maintained. After doing the "blue" walk, we did not see much value in doing a similar walk among the trees elevated 20 feet in the air. The tree walked looked neat, and we would definitely do it at night when it would be more special, but if you just want to walk among the redwoods, you can either do that at ground level for free or pay to traverse the many swing bridges.

Quite an amazing experience

If I ever come back to this place, I would like to go for a tree walk at the night. The light decorations and the other decorations must look very nice.

The walk itself is suitable for everyone, even for families with children and strollers. It's still nice, but not that wow. Or at least I didn't see much difference between walking on the ground and walking few meters up.

But seems it’s bit pricy and I wonder why at the entrance they ask where you come from.

Please buy ticket in advance!!

We visited the Redwoods twice, once for the nighttime experience and then the following morning. It is worth seeing the forest on both occasion as it so different between day and nights. All the staff were very friendly and informative!

This is a must see experience in Rotorua.

Only having time for a night time visit this time around, we arrived an hour before you could buy last tickets, and didn't have a long wait at all, even getting only GA tickets. It was still busy but not overly, and you could get some time on the bridges to yourself.

Our family loved it, saying "its a vibe" and it was. Lots of different lights/ lanterns/ lasers, and you could still see the trees that were lit up. Obviously no long vistas or looks into the woods, but the experience itself was great.

We would do the daytime walk next time just to see the difference, but I would recommend at least doing the night one if you can.

Fantastic experience and quite unique. The Redwood forest itself is fascinating but the walk on the suspension bridges through the trees at night was an unforgettable experience. I wish I had done it during the day as well!

Just a heads-up, if you plan to park directly at the place or at connecting streets, when I was visiting the place, I saw some teenagers going from one car to another, trying to open car doors. Before I managed to record them or report them to any staff member, they had vanished. Be careful.

Kia Ora 785jankak, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry your visit was dampened by the teenagers, though. I will make sure to pass this onto the team.

Last week I was walking through the Redwoods in Rotorua on the Mokopuna Trail. I was wearing casual shoes, but they weren't my usual shoes I'd wear for a walk or a quick tramp. Well, along the way I fell, and I was unable to walk the rest of the way to my car, although I tried. My husband tried to help, but I was in a lot of pain. I wasn't sure who to call, but I knew I wasn't far from the Redwood Treewalk, as I had been there last year on a visit to New Zealand. So I called this business, and asked if there was an emergency number (not an ambulance) that could help me. I spoke with a girl named Roimata, and she was so incredibly kind and helpful. I was able to send her my location via my iphone maps, and within a few minutes, she and Kelsey came into the Redwoods to help me. She brought a first aid kit, and she administered first aid. I was not even a customer of this business, and these girls did everything they could to help me get safely back to my vehicle.

I hadn't made plans to visit the Redwoods Treewalk on this trip to NZ because I wanted to visit at night, and we already had plans for the evening on Saturday. But the kindness and professionalism of the employees was so impressive, I'll absolutely be back the next time I am in New Zealand. I am a New Zealand Specialist travel agent, and I try to take a trip each year. I'll certainly be sending my travel clients here AND I'll be back myself.

Thank you, thank you, Redwoods Treewalk, for having properly trained employees who go above and beyond to help people. I'm so grateful.

Kia Ora, Julianne313! WOW! What a wonderful review and it warms our hearts to read this on a rainy Friday! Roimata and Kelsey are superstars and we're pleased they were able to assist you. We hope you're doing ok now and we hope to welcome you (and your clients!) onto the Treewalk in the future!
