As a BOP local it was nice to find a pool complex that was not crazy busy and commercialized.
This has several lovely pools with lots of native plantings around. The pools are clean and well kept. We also enjoyed a private pool. Friendly & helpful staff and well worth the drive out there.

Excellent value for money and really lovely facility. The grounds are perfectly landscaped. Nice outlook.
Nice range of pool temperatures from 35-40 and a couple of small tubs that are colder to cool off in.
The little cafe has a few deep fried items (chips, wedges, sharing platters) and there are also a few slices/cake and of course coffee machine and ice creams.
Worth the drive out from Rotorua.
Also worth the short walk ~10mins to the viewpoint to see the boiling spring included in entry price.

The spa was nice and warm, with a variety of selections of pools. You can also buy private pools! The lockers are why I only gave this place 4 stars.

Excellent pool complex with 6 pools at different temperatures plus personal spas and a cafe. The bush outlook is gorgeous. Great value considering you could stay all day if you wanted! You'll need a car to get out there but the 25min country drive is really nice.

Beautiful thermal hotpools in a lovely country setting, whats not to like. It was a very cold day when we went so having a soak in the hot water was delightful. There are several pools at different temperatures and also private spas. Very therapeutic.

Travelling in the motor home I decided to check out this place. What a little gem. For campers you get unlimited access to the pools between 06:00-20:00 when they start to drain the pools.
Pools are filled fresh every night and the public aren’t allowed in until 10:00. Perfect! Clean water & limited people.
The pools are different temps, between 37-42 degrees Celsius so you can choose which works best for you.
The cafe has GOOD Italian coffee & a range of food from snacks to full on meals.
Highly recommend a few nights here to soak & relax.

A magical place...we actually visited Dec 2019 and were fortunate that it wasn't too busy. We had each pool to ourselves as we moved around and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Very cheap too, about NZ$20 I think.

Hi Julie
The facility is open every day except Christmas from 10 am. I don't recall the exact price, but think it was something like $25-30 per adult for general admission. It's about 30 minutes from Rotorua
