Had a great time. Len the staff member was patient with my 2 boys who had never done this sort of thing before, he gave them good advice and confidence and soon both myself and my boys were racing and drifting around the track. Was great to see huge smiles on their faces. Well done, highly recommend and once again, thanks to Len for making it such an enjoyable afternoon.

My 12 year old tried driftzkartz for the first time. The guy there was great, very encouraging to everyone. Everything was explained in detail & my son had a great time.
Only drawback was that people are required at a time & the cost was quite high $30 for just 10 mins.

Thank-you for your review. We also have a 20 minutes racing option which is better priced and most of our customers preferred option - so next time your in town come and see us and give our 20 minute option a go..I'm sure you'll love it.

Once you try drifting, you'll never want to drive a regular kart again. Great fun, super value ($40 for about 30 mins), and the guys are friendly. Two thumbs way up!

Worst karts in NZ!!!!!
If you are in Rotorua and are thinking about drift kartz, save your money. Slowest karts I've ever been on and only slightest contact with another kart and you get pulled into the pits. This is one place I we will never visit again, normally I wouldn't review places but I feel that people need to be told how bad this place is.
Save your money, spend the time to drive to Hamilton and try Blastacars. Trust me, you will be thankful you did. Faster karts, more people on the track at once, bigger track, cheaper, more realistic drifting and allowed enough contact to make it fun.

Expensive for time you are actually on the track. Course is very short. Can never overtook without hitting someone into the barriers and then it all stops. No timers. No countdown of laps in the races. Very basic. Not worth it. Better off at luge or white water rafting. Won't be going back for sure

Want somewhere fun to take your kids for their 12th Birthday? Don't bring them here. Tuesday 23rd January bought William & friends after visiting the week before, to check they'd be OK to participate. Measured the kids to make sure they were correct height 150cms. Got there & their 150cms is about 157cms. Unhelpful & rude employee said they're under the line, they cannot ride. Slammed the glass divider shut & ignored us. Only when I asked a friend to bring a tape measure so we could prove the kids were the height advertised on their website did he deem to let one of the kids sit in the go kart. Even though our kid could push all the pedals with knees still bent the rude employee ordered him out. Drift kartz change your website so that families like us don't waste our time & kids hopes. Train up on customer service too. Highly unrecommend!!!

This was so much fun for the inner "hoon" in you: the guide was really funny, very warm and welcoming and our family had great fun sliding around the track. If you drive well, the guide speeds up the kart which makes it even more fun. Totally recommend it to anyone visiting Rotorua

My Classmates wanted to do something crazy after school, so we went to check out what is Drift Kartz are like.
The instructors in the track are very strict & helpful. They do not want any accidents to happen so they Guide and monitor your group very carefully.
We got few rounds for free to get hold to the cars before we start the race. It was my first time drifting in a Go Kart with a 400cc Motor. The track is pretty shiny and it’s easy to lose control. It was super fun. My friend’s sister won the race.

We hadn't been for a while but soon remembered the fun in the drifting, all up we were there for about hour, was a great way to start the afternoon in Rotorua. The instructor/ track supervisor was very friendly and helpful and experience. The track was good to ride/have fun on and tricky in places but that's what it is all about. Heaps of parking as we were the only ones there!!

Really fun, would go again. The course is small but you get lots of laps. The trainer is fun and helpful.

Thank you for your positive review. Our track is something different and nothing like your standard run of the mill kart track and as Motorsport Drift Tracks are small in comparison to an F1 circuit we thought we would follow suite hence the track size...BUT.. we have purchased a LARGE piece of land onto which a BRAND NEW SUPER SIZED go-kart DriftKartz track will be built, it may take us a couple of years but it will be worth the wait.
