Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Anne from Xquizit Limousine & Tours was our saviour when we were stuck at the Auckland border trying to leave for Rotorua. She drove all the way to the Auckland border to pick us up and drive us all the way back to Rotorua, where she had just come from. Absolute legend, and such a wonderful, friendly and nice person too. We would have been stranded if it weren't for her, and the fact that she helped us last minute without any planning (after my text message to ask for help, she was on her way to us!) just goes to show her extraordinary service and commitment to helping us. Thank you so very much! We hope to one day see you again! Highly recommend!!

We had a half day tour with Brian. He was a wonderful guide as well as a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of the area, it's history and its modern culture. We enjoyed every minute of his company. It was like spending a day with family.

We booked our private trip through Southern World who made arrangements for the complete itinerary from the airport door to the airport door.
Ann picked us up from our hotel in Auckland to Rotorua. She was our guide for the next 2 days. She was very engaging, knowledgeable and very professional. She made our trip very pleasant.
PS. Ann matches her van color with her blouse color! 😊

Had a great tour around Rotorua with Anne, Xquizit Tours, nothing was any trouble and she was a mine of information. Booked it online as our cruise was docking in Tauranga for the day, would recommend.

we have used Xquizit twice when visiting NZ and keep looking to go back again. So much to see and Anne will know where to go and what you should see to make the most of your time there. Fantastic knowledge of the area and by the end of the day you're a part of the family as you enjoy the drive back to the cruise ship.

We had such a great time Travelling by Cruise Ship Radiance of the Seas in Feb 2013 we didn't hesitate to book again with Xquizit. This time arriving on Voyager of the seas we had we booked online a personalised tour that included Hell's Gate Thermal Pools, Te Puia and Kiwi 360.
A fantastic day full of fun and we felt welcomed back like family. Many thanks to Ann for such a great time.
Alas we are not returning next year but have passed on your card to many friends visiting Rotorua in the coming year.
We hope to visit again soon!

We had a group from the HAL Amsterdam who booked with Xquizit tours for our port call on 27 February 2019. Anne Norton met us as we left the ship in Tauranga. We were escorted to a bright, clean MB, 11 passenger van to start a wonderful day of touring. We planned a day touring the Coromandel Peninsula. Anne was very informative but the drive was to long and we had time restraint so not much extra time for stops. I would recommended Xquizit tours to friends but would not recommend the Coromandel Peninsula unless you have more than one day to allow for this tour.

Thanks to Brian, we had an amazing time in Rotorua. He picked us up at the airport, drove us to several tours and returned us back to the airport. He was always prompt and just a delightful person. He counldn't have been kinder and allowed us to take our time at each stop and then went out of his way to help our grandson take a ride on the "zorb", which wasn't even scheduled but our grandson really wanted to do.

We were looking for a tour that could take wheelchairs and we were thrilled when these guys said they had an accessible bus. Our guide Tui was great and she took us everywhere. Very accommodating. The mini van takes one wheelchair via a lift at the back of the van. It will take manual or power chairs A great way to see the area..

There were 8 of us on this tour so our guide Ann was more than willing to customize it to our particular requests. The 7 hour tour took in Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland with geysers and hot springs, Okere Falls, Governors Gardens and the Blue and Green lakes. A leisure lunch stop was made in Rotorua. Ann was very knowledgable about the area, pointing out numerous points of interest along our route. Pickup and drop off was at the pier where our cruise shop was docked. A great time.

Hi, we will be in Rotorua on a cruise Holland America which arrives at 7:00 am depart at 5 pm, do you have a shore excursion from the port, maybe a 4 hour tour to see highlights, thisis a group of approx 10 to 12 people.

Hello, thank you for your enquiry, could you please advise the date the cruise ship arrives in the Port of Tauranga, also if you are requiring to come to Rotorua I would recommend a minimum of 6 hours to do your tour justice, we have a few tours listed on our website, however, we can customize a tour for you if you prefer.
We look forward to your reply
