I took a breakfast cruise on the paddle boat. It was 1 hour around the lake and the breakfast was great.

The lake is at one side of the town. Great views. Wonderful walks. Marvellous natural wonders. One of many lakes in NZ.

Absolutely recommended while having an ice cream from the place that's at the end of the Eatery street. Lots of families enjoying sunny days there and nice views.

You can't really miss it. It is so big and from whatever way you view it great views. We would have liked to take one of the flights or cruises but did not have the time.

My family and I went to the lake and there was plenty of activity there. My husband and i even hopped on the helicopter. Great park for the kids. If you take your kids there you won't be disappointed.
