Famous for a reason, Skyline Rotorua is your ticket to an unforgettable holiday.

Begin your day with a tranquil Gondola ride up Mt Ngongotaha overlooking Lake Rotorua then wind your way down via the Luge or if you prefer to descend by mountain bike, weave your way through one of the newly created Gravity Park trails.

Get the adrenalin pumping even more on the Zoom Zipline and the Sky Swing. Or for a more relaxed approach take a stroll through the stunning nature trails with informative and interactive panels along the way.

Left feeling a little peckish? Head to the Food Market Kitchen or the Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar to fuel up again. While you’re there, why not also pop into the Volcanic Hills Wine Tasting Room and Winery while the kids explore the Jelly Belly Gallery and Store.

Finish the day with an out-of-this world experience during Skyline’s Stargazing tour. It’ll have you exploring constellations and discovering planets invisible to the naked eye, at one of the top eight stargazing locations in New Zealand.

The Skyline Rotorua complex is just 5 minutes’ drive from central Rotorua, sitting atop Mt Ngongotaha providing unsurpassed views of New Zealand’s coolest hot spot. This is an all-weather must do attraction suitable for all ages. Open 365 days a year from 9am to late.

We had pre-booked the dinner + stargazing tour, which were really looking forward to. Luck wasn't on our side as it was raining a lot during the day and the night sky was covered with clouds. However, the personnel at the counter was really helpful and offered to check again if the Stargazing tour would proceed or if we wanted... More

The cable car gondola ride takes you to the stratosfare restaraunt and start of the mtb/luge rides. There's plenty of cabs and so you shouldn't have to wait for a ride - each cab takes around 8 pax and the views over Rotorua town and lake are quite spectacular - we also saw a herd of deer below us in... This is our first time in Skyline Rotorua. We spend 44nzd each for a gondola ride and luge. It was an awesome experience and a must try if you will be visiting Rotorua. You will be able to see breathtaking birds eye view of Rotorua from your gondola ride. A nice cafe is waiting on the top where you can... More

Booked tickets, only to find that the advanced luge track was unavailable! The young lady in the souvenir shop was amazing, friendly and exceptionally helpful though 😊

Bought the family pass including 10 luge rides and thought it was good value. The two year old loved the luge ride with me. Views were stunning and cafe on top was nice. With one adult riding the luge, managing luge with children was hard as under 130cm had to ride chairlift back with an adult. Had perfect weather, so... More

We took the gondola ride to the top and then had an amazing lunch at the Stratorphere restaurant. As I am vegetarian, I was delighted at the healthy delicious options available. The service was wonderful, the views "to die for" and the food yummy!

We went up in the gondola which was well out of my niece's comfort zone but she made it! When we got up there and saw the chairlift I was happy that I didn't have to go on it, only to find out when we got to the bottom of the luge, that we had to come back up the... More

Absolutely breath taking views from the ride, to add on the excellent food at the restaurant. I could literally spent a whole day up there!
