Polynesian Spa is New Zealand’s leading international day spa. In a picturesque, tranquil setting overlooking Lake Rotorua, visitors can enjoy a wonderful fusion of relaxing hot spring pool bathing, sumptuous spa and massage therapies and picturesque lake views. Polynesian Spa has the use of two types of hot mineral water, one alkaline and one acidic, that are the unique point of difference of the operation. Many thousands of visitors to the spa have attested to the remedial effect the hot mineral waters have on such ailments as muscular complaints, arthritis and rheumatism. The Priest and Radium springs are most noted in this respect. We invite you to experience this World Top Ten Spa (natural/thermal/medical), as voted by readers of the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller magazine for several years and once again in 2011. We look forward to welcoming you to Polynesian Spa.

This attraction can be a budget experience or something a little more expensive if you choose. My partner and I chose to go to a private spa for a well earned soak in the mineral pools after a previous days mountain bike riding. The staff gave you all the privacy you needed, explained fully what was in the water and... More

For anyone visiting Rotorua this is a must to experience. I know the entry fee seems high but I can assure you it's well worth the cost. The pools are in varying degrees of heat from warm to hot in several stages each pool set in beautiful natural surroundings. Moving from one to another is rather exciting. In addition a... More

Spent 1.5 hours just soaking in the thermal pools and it was wonderful! We were there on a Thursday evening in early May and it was very pleasant to relax so thoroughly.

I have visited a few times and it seems a good idea to go in the morning, as the water is fresh and there are very few people there. Also weekends and holidays are a lot more busy. The atmosphere and surrounding is lovely. The set up is truely beautiful. The lake views are very special. The Deluxe Lake Spa... More

A shame that you have to choose a section to go into so you miss out. Expensive compared to similar and also charge extra for lockers. Avoid 5pm onwards when it appears to have tours. Very good pools and great setting. Worth taking g a couple of hours out there to relax.

We got the deluxe private pool for 2 people. Great views. Helpful service. Bit expensive for half an hour. Ended up being $78 for 2 people since we hired towels (you get $5 per towel when they're returned) Pool is pretty hot to sit in for that whole time. Nice cold drinking water tap and a shower to cool off.... More
