We visited the spa on a Sunday afternoon and it was very quiet, we had some of the pools to ourselves, it was lovely just relaxing and soaking up the views of the lake. Best night sleep I’ve had in ages.

Terrific experience! Go as a spa guest- services are excellent and you’ll enjoy access to private facilities. I recommend the mud!

The spa wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, given their website I was expecting complete luxury. Sadly it wasn’t quite like that, it felt more like a public swimming pool with loud children and coaches of tourists all being very rude. Luckily, when we got...More

As I've read in other reviews, the views at sunset were wonderful. The pools themselves were nice, but were difficult to enjoy because of all the noise. Polynesian spa seems to cater especially to Chinese speaking clients, who are either unwilling or unable to speak...More

Arrived in the late afternoon. Nearly empty with alot of the outdoor spas available. Had fun running from the many spas and cold shower over 1-2 hours. Good view but for $30 an okay experience.

About what we expected: pools outside, some with shade. We went in the adult only area (but not the deluxe). It was just fine and we still got to see the lake. Staff were very nice. Lockers, tubs for stuff, nice shower and change rooms....More

Hi there, thank you for your question. We recommend pre-booking our private pools or if you wish to enjoy one of our day spa products. You dont need to pre-book for our other bathing products. Hope this helps!

Considering you are used to Chicago in the winter you will not find it cold, but it does rain a lot. The pools will be too hot for a small child. There is a family section. Take your kid there

Hi there - November see us well into spring so it would be a great option during the day. We would recommend the Lake Spa as you can enjoy a variety of pools and the views with your little one.
