Being local and knowing what to expect from Maori culture groups, I expected a lot more from Tamaki Tours. We were bitterly dissapointed with thier dated performance and patronising leader. The friendly bus drivers and tour guides were the highlight of the evening however,

We had a great time at the Tamaki show. It takes place partly inside and partly outside, so if you go in winter like we did, wrap up! It was very well done and the outside parts especially were very realistic and atmospheric. Loads of food, satisfied even our picky daughter!

Tamaki Maori village is a must see. Great food with a wonderful show performed respectfully and with dignity. Not touristy like similar shows I have seen. The bus ride is a bit long but our bus driver was very entertaining and informative.
