Wow Wow Wow today this place was stunning ! What a stunning view ... we called in on an off chance and what a view ! You have the geysers on one side of the road and the best view of the golf course on the other, much like a rural view like you have never seen before!
The food was awesome the burgers and beef wedges were unbelievable and so well worth the effort! The bar attendant was superb so well worth a visit!

A different experience for us.
This was a great experience, the course follows the contours of the natural environment so there are very few level stances. The greens had been cored so I couldn't comment on the quality of them but they seemed hard and quick. The odd thing for us was the tee blocks aiming over the previous green. A little nerve racking when your feeling off and someone is putting on the green directly in front of you.
Friendly pro and staff. I would play here again anytime.

You do not want to hit your ball into the thermal pools.. is a bit smelly, but amazing place to play golf. Very friendly; we only had time for 9 and that was fine. We would highly recommend!

My first drive ended up in the middle of the geothermal hazard. Fortunately it went up from there! This was a challenging course with lots of interesting twists, the pro was very helpful. We had a great time.

After heavier and more rain than normal for the region you would hardly notice on this course. A good test of golf on a well established course.
Worth a visit, especially in winter when your own course is soft and wet

Fantastic course with great pumice drainage. It’s been a very wet year but you don’t know it on this course. Hope to complete back 9 tomorrow 👍👍
Scenic course with a lot of undulations.

This course set out amongst geysers and mud ponds is really challenging - lost balls a plenty. It is an interesting course as the first nine holes are totally different from the last nine holes.
The course was in great condition and the staff were really great nothing too much trouble. The clubs they provided were excellent and together with the bag were almost brand new. We were told all are cleaned and polished before being rehired. The Club Professional was very helpful as he offered us a Lions deal, being travelling Lions supporters, so the four of us had a round of golf plus buggies(carts) and club hire for under £60 absolutely outstanding vale. They really do appreciate visitors so much so they gave a meal and drink voucher value about £12 so we had a beer and the best beef burger I have had for months. Well done Rotorua Golf Club and thank you for making us so welcome. This also applies to local golfers on the course who gave us tips about the course
A very friendly and enjoyable experience

A great day out from the conference. Course in great condition as normal and a great test of golf made more difficult with the wind. One of the better courses and a must if in Rotorua
