Well run, friendly, beautiful scenery and lovely horses. We had a lovely 1.5hr trek with 2 guides. The track goes through native bush and then farmland. There are huge views of lakes and mountains. The tracks are well maintained and the horses know the way. Our guides, Gemma and Monique were knowledgeable and lovely. We loved our morning and would come back again when the sun is shining 🌞…

So glad I was able to borrow my friend 's car and drive down from the bridge congress and do my cousin Lucy's trek .have done many treks from Glenorchy to the Numinbah valley in Queensland and the Whitehorse ranch in the Yukon and Lucy's is simply the best beautiful native bush stunning views of Lake Tarewera and extremely well behaved horses .We had four young children on yesterday mornings ride and Lucy and Gemma made sure everyone had a great experience and took lot's of photo's of everyone on a stunning morning, Loved riding my grey mare Marley in spite of her incredible appetite for leaves and thistle flowers.
