The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

This was so much fun. I went with a couple of the girls from work and we had a blast! The staff were really friendly and watching the video at the end was hilarious. If you are anywhere near Rotorua I would definitely suggest giving this a try.

My kids (16, 12 & 8) had so much fun rolling down the hill, swish-washing inside the giant ball. The track is longer than Zorb's and has a slight hump in the middle which made it seem like a better ride, worth the slightly higher rate they charge for trios ($35 p/p vs $30 p/p for Zorb). Staff are friendly... More

My husband and I did the H2OGO ride and had a blast. It really is fun, but I found the prices to be a bit steeper than I'm used to paying in the United States. Still, we had a good time, the staff was very friendly, and we don't regret it for one second. Tip: In the black Jason's NZ... More

Should be used as a treatment for depression. My wife and I did the Ogo together and we would recommend it to everyone. We had such a laugh. We could have spent the day rolling down the hill cradled in our warm water containing bubble. If you do nothing else in Rotorua, Do this!

If you ever wondered how your clothes feel in the washing machine, being dropped inside a H2OGO plastic bubble with 40 litters of warm water and a possible partner or two is the simulator for it, then it is fun. The harness OGO is the drier simulator which I less recommend. It is much more extreme and made you spin... More

Thanks for your review and great to hear that you enjoyed your OGO experience. With regard to the photos, yes we do charge for the photos ... we employ an extra staff person on site who takes photos of each ride. If you like the photos and video we take, you can purchase them afterwards on a CD for $25. More

This is a must do NZ attraction! We initially went to Zorb and quickly left - horrible site with poor staff. We came into OGO and immediately by looking at thier track and facilities could tell we were in for a much better time. The tracks here are much longer and everything super safe - OGO is by the inventors... More

Funny story... OGO is actually just another version of ZORB. My teen brothers and I were trying to get to ZORB and the GPS led us astray, so we ended up at OGO ( which was the only place round that we could see that looked anything like ZORB ). The idea is....you roll down a hill inside a giant... More

Hubby did a H2OGO ride down the hill, it happened very quickly (less than a minute) and all over red rover... Plenty of work happing on the property where new tracks including a radical zig zag is under construction which will definately help this new park draw in the crowds.... Hubby said it was fun, but your really need to... More

While we encourage our staff to be light-hearted, we understand that there are some issues which can be sensitive. We are embarassed and apologise unreservedly for offending you. We have spoken to all of our staff-members and stressed again the importance of being sensitive towards all of our customers. More
