The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

We were in the winter months, so we were somewhat hesitant about the water. But the crew filled the chamber with hot water. They were very funny and really friendly. The course has a straight run where you can race the group in the other ball, but there is also a meandering course if you enjoy the directional changes. Definitely... More

I loved loved doing Ogo. It's ah ugh ball you are zipped up in with a little bit of water and down the hill you go .I did 2 rides- the straight-down the hill and the sidewinder. I highly recommend both as they are different experiences. I was impressed with how much Iloved this activity and it is extremely safe... More

OGO are very large balls that you climb into, the opening gets zipped up and you come down a hill. Just like on Amazing Race. FUN! FUN! FUN! There are two routes down, one is a straight line which allows you to go faster. The other is a zig zig curvy line which is a different experience. You get to... More

Chose Ogo over Zorb based on the reviews. Their ride is also longer in length and time. Initially just wanted the kids to have a go, but the wife and I ended up going ourselves. FUN! The hot tubs are an added treat! Helpful and cheerful staff!

A little expensive, but I think it's worth it. My partner and I had a great time. We did the straight and sidewinder separately, and tried the sidewinder together too. Friendly staff :)

My 16 year old son and I did this on New Years day, which was a great choice because we avoided all of the crowds. We did the three runs, one straight and two sidewinder. Very fun and not scary. You start walking/running in the ball to get moving, but once you lose your footing, you just slosh around in... More

This was super fun, we did the H20 2 ride pack and it was perfect. The first ride down my husband and I raced in the straight track (we each had our own ball) and the second one we went together in the sidewinder track and it was hilarious! We couldnt stop laughing, it was a blast! It is super... More

We saw these videos before we came to New Zealand and immediately put them on the to do list. Went today and it didn't disappoint at all! Only went down once on the zig zagging trail but would definitely go back to do it again and the other trail!

My kids, age 10 & 12, pushed us to do the OGO. I thought I could avoid the experience entirely by claiming I didn't bring my swim suit or an extra change of clothes. Not to worry - you can rent clothes - so my fate was determined. The giant orb is filled with warm water and you slosh around... More
