Very disappointed...... did the christmas day cruise. Plates dirty, linen and seat covers stained. Ham, potatoes and buns the most edible of all the food, some of it not great at all. Cruise supposed to show some features of the lake but just went straight...More

Tired looking boat.. hasnt changed since I was last here 20 years ago. I was totally hyped about bringing my kids here. My son said to me the plates haven’t been cleaned properly. I’m so embarrassed. This is what you offer to tourists. Disgusting. Food...More

We took a friend visiting from Australia on a sightseeing tour including Rotorua, and the Lakeland Queen was the star of the tour. Yes she’s getting on in years, but is comfortable and safe. The commentary was brief, and mostly drowned out by guests who...More

We went on the paddleboat for a friends seventieth birthday. What was great was the exclusivity of this boat for such an event. The cruise was safe and warm and layout was good. The food was what you would expect not gourmet but standard hearty...More

It was not a very nice day and the activity we wanted was booked out. The cruise on the Queen was very pleasant especially after a couple of wines. A quite good explanation of the lake area whilst cruising around.

A group of 8 of us went on the breakfast cruise on a stunning, calm Rotorua morning. It was a fairly full cruise and the Lakeland Queen is a really cute looking paddle boat. There is plenty of seating on board and the staff were...More

The crew were lovely. View was stunning. Food was yum but could do more, however, was enjoyable though. It was a short trip around the lake but worth it coz it's like a different kind of having breakfast. Love the freebies as well.

So much more could be made of this attraction - a boat trip on a jewel of a lake with stunning scenery! The commentary was lacking information, with minimal indigenous history or geological, flora and fauna natural history of the lake. One would be hard-pressed...More
