We had such a great time playing tourist in our own backyard, our tour guide Josh was such a laugh. We were the only locals in our group and we appreciated the inside local jokes so much - it was absolutely hilarious and it just added to our already fun experience. 10/10 recommend A++++

Our Guide Josh kept everyone entertained through the 90+ minutes of the tour and gave a lot of very insightful comments on what we were seeing throughout. Fun way to see some of the lakes and surrounding tourist areas with a guide who has a good patter although my wife who has English as a second language did struggle to keep up. All in all a very worthwhile experience.

Tour guide, driver and skipper Shelley did a fine job highlighting some of the city sights and surrounding natural attractions. Not only did she have good local knowledge but her sense of humour was delightful and almost drove us quackers. Good work Shelley.

My family and I took a guided tour of the Rotorua lakes in the amphibian duck boat. A genuine WW2 military craft, the duck boat was a sight to behold and definitely the centre of attention on the roads with loads of waving and smiles from people we passed. Our intrepid guide, Josh, had the charismatic banter of an experienced professional that led me to suggest he moonlight as a stand up comedian. Friendly and clearly happy in his work, Josh gave out interesting facts and fascinating historical information about the locations we visited and ensured we all had a great time. The lakes were beautiful, some as smelly as expected, others picturesque. We even won the triathlon taking place on one (OK, we inadvertently parked at the finish line so Josh could check for water weeds, and quickly had to back up when the winners arrived). With such gorgeous scenery there were loads of great opportunities for photos and the duck tours was the highlight of our holiday.

Most fascinating 2 hour World War 11 amphibious cruise to explore Lake Rotorua. The scenery, the history and of course the duck makes this trip really enjoyable. Our tour guide was very informative. It is all open so you definitely need something warm to wear over.
