We are an escape adventure house on Hinemoa street right in the center on Rotorua! We`ll lock you up in one of the rooms of our house and make sure you have an exciting time playing your way out! With lots of locks, keys, puzzles and riddles it`s all about team work, communication, mystery, heaps of fun for your brain cells and excitement for your senses and will guarantee you a daily dose of adrenaline! Are you game?! Bookings essential!

Huge shout to Rotofobia for a great experience with escape rooms. Had to come back and give them all a go and can honestly say each one was challenging and interesting in their own ways. Service was made better with the greats hosts who managed get us all in the theme of each room which greatly added to our overall experience of Rotofobia. Hugely recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to give this sort of activity a go, you won’t regret it!

Myself and my partner LOVE escape rooms and this place is definitely our favourite. The strip club room is the best escape room we have ever done. The owners take real pride in what they do and it shows. We have completed all three of their current rooms - most recently 'The Missing' which is their 30 min room. It was an interesting challenge attempting to escape in such a short space of time and very well done. We really enjoy how few locks Rotofobia use and how they differentiate with their unique ideas on puzzles. Highly recommend taking the time to do all 3 rooms. We look forward to new challenges Rotofobia!! 😀

Friends and I came and experienced the strip club themed room. The props and clues were great and it was so well set up. There was a timer in the second room which motivated us to push each other to get through it. Really enjoyed it and the theming made it feel so real. So wish we had the time to experience all of the other rooms. Thank you so much and will definitely be coming back!

Dropped in to Rotofobia this afternoon with teenage son and were promptly admitted to the 'Catch me if you can' room. It was a very challenging experience that we only just completed with some help and an extension of time. This is one of the toughest escape rooms that we have attempted in NZ. Well done to the creators. Highly recommended.

Super great customer service. We were on edge with anticipation the whole time. Our 8 year old really enjoyed the thrill too. Had us adults really thinking and loved that there were a lot of surprises in there.

We have found the best accomplice to have in an escape room, is a kid, their generation sees things we don’t, I blame video games! :)

This has to be one of the best escape room company’s in NZ.
We had such a great time exploring all 3 rooms in 1 day to really get the full experience. Lovely staff with amazing stories and great challenging rooms to keep your mind entertained. Make sure you give them a visit any time your around as they will never disappoint and always asking for how they can improve. Loved and it would go back anytime just to do it all again.

My partner and I did the R18 Strip Club Escape room and it was so much fun, we laughed the whole time and the puzzles were a good difficulty. Afterwards we were buzzing and talked for ages about how cool it was. Bianca was an awesome host and has the exact attitude needed and set the right atmosphere, we will so be back for more!

We did 2 escape rooms with Rotofobia while we were in Rotorua and I couldn’t recommend them more!! Our game master Kean was so great, very knowledgeable and had a great attitude. We loved how hands on the rooms were and the theme of the strip club room was just so unique and awesome. 10/10! 🎉

Such a fun night out. We did the strip club and it was the best escape room both of us have ever done. Full of hidden traps and tricks to keep us guessing. Thanks heaps for a wicked experience.

For two people you both done very well, Strip club has all sorts of things to make you think.... and you came out on the other side with a huge smile.

Brilliant value for money, great set up and an hysterically fun experience.
Not for the faint hearted, the Stripper Themed room left little to the imagination - very well done.

What is the minimum number of players and minimum age of players per escape.?

Hello! :)
Minimum number of players is 2.
Maximum is 6 to 8 (depending on which game you are playing).
Minimum age:
- for STRIP-CLUB ESCAPE R18 it`s 18 years
- for the other 2 of our games: 14 is the minimum age to play without supervising adult. If there is at least 1 adult playing as well, there is not age limit (although we don`t recommend bringing children 7 and under into ONE HELL OF A KITCHEN).
Children 5 & under are free to come along with their parents.
