Hello and welcome to the HOME of ADVENTURE. We are NZ's First and only Adventure Rooms. We are a locally owned & operated division of 27 Locations worldwide and our puzzles are tried, tested and we LOVE what we do! If you are on the hunt for excitement, team-building and family friendly fun then you are in the right place! Located in the Sunny Bay of Plenty, close to all your accommodation, shopping and dining needs. We are Rotorua's top destination for group events from 2-14 players! Our Game-Masters will take you on a thrilling mental ride with clues and State of the art themed adventures to leave you howling with laughter! Suitable for kids of all ages (with adult supervision). Your team is LOCKED in a room with hidden and mysterious objects, with only these objects as clues, you have 60 minutes to escape. Defeat the Menacing Mad Scientist or the Fearless Black Queen today! Went along and had an amazing time with our kids trying to escape the Black Queen room. Very challenging and kept us thinking for the whole time with all of us engaged and working together. Highly recommended for any sort of group and Tom a great host, very friendly and helpful. The family were buzzing afterwards and kept discussing how much fun they had. A must do while in Rotorua!

We came here with a Hen's group in the weekend, 9 of us so we did the Mad Scientist Duel Challenge. It was so much fun and very quickly bonded a group of girls that didn't know each other really well. Great team building. So much fun, and a duel meant that there were bragging rights on the line which made the rest of the days activities even more interesting! Our hosts were so lovely and great fun. Really entertaining and love their job, so refreshing! This was my first time in an escape room and I know I'll be back!!!

We visited the Adventure rooms for a Team Building day out of the office. Right from the initial booking stages Bobby was so accommodating. With a group of 20 we did the Dual Challenge in groups of 5 in both the Mad Scientist and Black Queen Room. Such a great way to get everybody involved and get the mind thinking. Everyone loved the experience and it was definitely something we would all like to do again. Thanks so much for an awesome morning.

Hi and hello really enjoyed the mad scientist but sadly i have noticed that my favourite game master was not there i was so shocked she was great i think her name was emma hope she feels better soon can't wait to see her again heaps of love from the Adventure pro.

Came through today and did the Mad scientist- challenging but great !! Mike was a great host and explained everything well ( we had two people who hadn't been through an escape room). Will definitely be back to try the mad scientist!!

I've done both the Mad Scientist and Black Queen rooms and loved them both! Better than other room escape games I've tried. Both rooms have a good variety of puzzles, codes and challenges. Managed to escape both rooms - they were challenging but not impossible or too obscure.

Hey Alex we really appreciate this great review. That's one of the reasons why we love our rooms. The puzzles and clues are varied but they are about common sense not 'smarts'. It does take a special kind of brain to escape both rooms though!!

We had SUCH a great time at adventure rooms! There was 8 of us so a duel escape....who could hunt who first while the others tried to escape so much fun! No question who would win really (girls rule) awesome hosts!

Hi. Which room was the better one for kids?

Hi there, both are good for kids with the guidance of an adult however the Mad Scientist is better for first timers as the clues and puzzles are a bit more logical.
