Overall our visit to motion was good. The girls at the main motion entertainment front desk were absolutely lovely. Chipmunks was great with good food. And kids loved the laser game and bowing!
HOWEVER!! The staff (one guy in particular) was so so rude he clearly needs to learn about customer service. I booked and paid for my 3 children (age 7, 6 and 2) into the trampolines. When booking I made sure to confirm myself and husband did not need to jump with them but only needed to supervise. This was confirmed and we were told this was fine. When we went to jump I was told the 2 year old wasn’t allowed to jump unless an adult jumped with her and we needed to pay extra for this. Ok so rules are rules, it was an inconvenience as we had been told otherwise... but it wasn’t the end of the world. We opted for a
refund instead.
Because my littlest was crying as she didn’t get to go on the tramps we opted for a little car ride instead for $7.50 for 5 min. She gets in the car... it’s going sooo slow as the battery is low. Then completely has to stop for a minute while a girl fixes some tyres. Suddenly the battery goes completely flat. I ask will we get the 5 min back as she has barely even gone yet and am told “no, the clock has stopped while the battery is changed and she has 2 minutes left”. I tell them but the car has barely been working and just ask for the complete 5min. I’m told “no, I can give you an extra minute at most”. I ask again, can she just get the 5 min what we paid for as the car has not been working, all asked i. A very polite manner. At this point the guy at the counter (not sure of name but tall with long hair in bun on top) tells me “ just get her out of the car and I’ll give you a refund”. What a horrible derogatory line to use with someone who is only trying to give her 2 year old a nice time”. I definitely won’t be back and will be advising all I know to avoid extreme air like the plague. That guy need to go and do a hospitality course of some sort...

Bowling $49 (two games) - not bad, a challenge finding our preferred balls, 4 miss set frames, expensive drinks, kids staffing the business.
VR $29 - good gear, decent staff.
Timezone $200 - limited decent games with many games being broken. No pinball.
Plenty of things for young kids, limited for adults who like to bowl and play some video games.

Something for everyone, indoors and family friendly. We played mini golf then split for ten pin bowling and trampoline park. Great afternoon filler for the kids and fun for adults too. Would be perfect on a rainy day, but nice and quiet on a sunny day.

Great place to take the kids for hours of fun. We went on our first night stay in Rotorua and back the next day for the Escape Room challenge. There is plenty to do for all ages. Place to grab a coffee too.

Spent the day there with family, including three children. Awesome idea to have everything under the one roof. They have truly thought about catering to all age groups. Chipmunks, Trampolining, Laser tag, Ten-pin bowling and more. A cafe/bar in a central location - a bit pricey for the food though.
Considering the amount of money we spent on the activities it would have worked out cheaper buying a super pass. Oh well...next time!

Simple, love your work and the work will love you. The staff working here were not seem enjoying their work and giving misleading infos, like they did not mention of auto shut down of the bowling area at 9:45, as well as no proper instruction on how to use the buttons. Staff were assuming all of the people who buys ticket for bowling games knows how to play. Staff were sarcastic, if you guys cannot handle talking to customers dont work in the service sector.

We visited Rotorua over Easter Weekend. Our second day here was at M.E and now Day 3 (thanks to the rain) we will be returning for another fun filled day. Our tribe of 5 adults and 4 children (8-15) had a blast! 4 hours of non stop fun on day one. Spent $250 .... about $28 bucks each! Accumulated about $1700 tickets from the spacies to win prizes and played Tenpin .... day 2 and we can’t wait to see what mischief we get up to! Totally affordable fun in Rotorua....thanks to the rain we get a second experience at M.E! #bringiton

We did the escape room it was so cool and there was so much to do. We had two younger children with us and they had a lot of fun.

Free to get in - but costs to do any activities. This place has activities that suit a lot of people. I am physically big - regardless of size though, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the Laser Tag, 10 Pin Bowling, Escape Room. My family loved the Dark Ride? That was just too expensive for me. In fact, some of the activities are a little on the expensive side so as a pre-warning, you need to go with money....at least $120 per adult to get through most activities. The venue is great - brand spanking new - so the rides are not tired looking. Food is onsite. Really wanted to do the mini-golf but ran out of time - so ensure you set aside enough time. Mind you - there is flexibility too. You can do package deals - or just do 1 activity. (if you are short on cash/time) Particularly loved the Restaurant Escape Room (might be because we managed to "crack" the hard level). Spent $100....but loved every minute of it. Check the website for better details on prcing and suitability etc. Oh and staff were fantastic!
