Dan was extraordinarily accommodating and friendly. He took plenty of time to insure I had the right bike for my size and riding plans. The bike was in excellent condition and worked great for doing both Waitangi mountain bike park and the Twin Coast cycle trail. He suggested excellent routes for my cycling interest.…

We stopped by one morning, trying to decide whether to kayak or sup, or whatever it was going to be. Nick gave us a lovely warm welcome, and was talking us through the options when he got an update there were orca in the bay. After a quick check we were competent kayakers, he got us on the water immediately and joined us, so we could watch the orca cruising along the shore. He gave another quick check on the water, then left us to the most amazing hour long paddle as we drifted around the bay, following and watching the orca - that'll stick with me forever. My sister and I enjoyed our kayaking and paddleboard experience. The staff was super friendly! Although we were a bit confused about how many people could paddleboard at once, we figured it out in the end. The weather was great and the prices were reasonable.
