Had an excellent time with Dan and Ace on the Cruise - Kayak tour this afternoon. They're both super lovely and helpful, clearly know a lot about the Bay of Islands and have a ton of entertaining stories to share. Ruby is great too - she handled my numerous queries and questions with utmost ease. This experience was amazing. Taylor and Red were awesome hosts, very welcoming. My 5 kids, husband and I had a blast and loved going under the waterfall. My youngest even got to drive the boat, thank you Taylor it made his day.

This is a fantastic experience. Taylor, our host and guide, was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He was born here and clearly loved this special part of the region. Visited the crowded markets & then the clean shops. Had a lovely lunch at a rib restaurant. The staff where very kind & friendly. It was soon time for use to go back to the ship but we had a great day out! Would definitely like to spend more Than 7 hours there ... maybe ( days & visit the top/north island of New Zealand! We had a great trip with Taylor. We were the only ones that booked the morning tour. Instead of reschedule us Taylor was happy to ake us on the tour. Really nice guy, very interessted in the people that join him on the boat. Showed us many pretty spaces and told great stories before heading to the falls. It was really cool the see the waterfall from a different perspective. We would really recommend this tour. It has small groups and a really personal feeling. You can tell they have a passion for the area and are not just in this for making money on tourist as some tours do. …
