Great day - really well organised, friendly crew. Food prepared on board was scones for a snack and then nicely cooked bbq chicken lunch. Best thing is letting the kids climb rigging and jumping off the boat without fussing too much. Very refreshing attitude whilst...More

This is the way to see the Bay of Islands!! The novelty of being on a pirate ship instead of a ferry was enough to convince me I wanted to be on this trip but the day exceeded all our expectations. We got to climb...More

Beautiful tall ship sailing in the most beautiful part of the world. There were plenty of opportunities for guests to participate in sailing activities with great crew guidance. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter. The area we sailed was breathtaking. The crew was...More

Kia ora and thank you very much for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself despite the inclement weather and we appreciate you braved it and came sailing anyway! Often it makes for a more interesting day than blue skies and hardly any wind.

Being overseas visitors on a tight schedule, we had been watching the weather forecast for some days in the hope of a fine day for our sailing trip. When the forecast turned from bad to worse, we considered cancelling, but ended up very glad we...More

Thank you for your kind words about our crew, they work very hard and love to share the ship with our guests. We'd love to take the credit for the weather but of course that's in the lap of the gods.... kia ora!

All said already in other votes. Truly exciting day. And above all you are doing the right thing as booking with Tucker Thompson contributes to the development of a youth program which runs in winter times.

Sorry no, it is the one day we do not sail. We sail on Boxing day and Christmas eve but we like our crew to be able to spend their day with family on Christmas day.
