Come sailing on Northland’s own tall ship! You can help set the sails, ride on the bowsprit, climb the rigging, or alternatively you can relax while our crew does the work. Morning cream tea and a delicious BBQ lunch are included. The ship is a member of the Northland Sustainable Tourism Charter and operated by a charitable trust. Profits from day sails are used to develop youth in Northland.

I’m prone to seasickness so was unsure about this, but I’m so glad I went. Crew was fun, competent and engaging. Boat is interesting and photogenic. Route is varied and pretty. Food delicious. And I didn’t get seasick!More

Awesome! We're thrilled to hear you didn't get seasick; we have quite a deep hull and go through the water rather than bounce on surface which you get with motorised vessels so we are a bit more kindly than some boats. Glad you enjoyed the...More

Had a late afternoon sail. Staff were informative and it was nice spending time on a real sailing ship. Could have a go at putting up sails if you wanted.

Sorry no, it is the one day we do not sail. We sail on Boxing day and Christmas eve but we like our crew to be able to spend their day with family on Christmas day.
