Lovely rides
Apr 2021 • Couples
We spent a few days 8n the Hawkes Bay Napier region rrying out the tracks, out of the 4 tracks we did they are all highly Recommended.
They are all well sign posted and the riding tracks are good surfaces.
Only let down there is a few gates that you have to get off your bikes and manually open which can slow you down a bit.
Most of the rides are flat.

Lots of different routes to enjoy.

From along the seafront to stop banks by the orchards we have enjoyed many of the Hawkes Bay cycle tracks. People are usually friendly and courteous en route.

Covering the trails
Jan 2020
These trails are really awesome and family friendly. They are mostly flat and you can do them in sections over several days or visits. Head along the coast, through the wetlands or inland to the wineries and pubs. Brilliant!

Easy Trails with Gorgeous Views
Feb 2020
If you enjoy cycling, the Hawke's Bay Trails are a "must"! The ride from Napier to Bay View follows the Pacific Coast and the views are absolutely stunning. We also rode from Napier to Taradale, passing the beautiful Ahuriri Estuary, on our way to the wineries on Church Road. Very fun! The trails are Grade 1 (Easiest) and the scenery is outstanding.

Perfect Day Out
Feb 2020 • Couples
Thoroughly enjoyed a full day of cycling round the Hawkes Bay area. Started along the coastal path, then followed the river past orchards and farm land to Silk Chocolate Factory. After a delicious iced chocolate we got back on the bikes and cycled out to Puketapu, stopping at The Puketapu Pub for lunch (the Kiwi Burger was excellent!) and Church Road Winery later in the day to sample some local favourites. The last leg of our ride took us through the wetlands, where we joined back up with the coastal path.

Pleased you enjoyed your ride on our trails - we appreciate the feedback. Clearview is an excellent choice to stop and refuel, on the Landscapes ride. We continually seek to improve the experience on the trails, if you could complete our short survey at our website it would be appreciated, and you could win a cycle trail book. Thank you in advance.

Jan 2020 • Friends
Over 200 km off road pathways around napier and Hastings and havelock north. But lots stupid gates. If you not like gateS please complain to councils. They do not keep out motorbikes. Only people can keep out motorbikes. And many paths have no gates so why have any gates.
Ask locals for best places to go. Many more things that are not on the maps or website.
If you like a guide please contact me direct and I will take you places you did not know existed..

Well maintained and sign posted trails
Dec 2019
We did not hire bikes ourselves but walked many trails in the Napier area. All were sign posted well and were very well maintained. Family friendly and easy riding/walking, away from the town centre.
