Went to visit and had to pay admission to go into museum and we decided wasn't worth it with all of us. Didn't get to try the cafe either so all we did was visit the pantry and chocolate shops which really wasn't worth the trip out there. Not unless you want to go to a cafe or really love... More

It is a shame you did not enjoy your time with us, the museum is really worth visiting, covering 3,000 years of chocolate history. If you didn't get to try the café, I assume it was because your group visited us on New Years Day. Maybe you could visit us again next time you are in the area More

Enjoyed our visit here, the chocolate was divine in the top 5 of the world. Staff were friendly and the owner explained the story of how the family started the company and how the chocolate is made. Even tasted some samples. On the expensive side but why not treat yourself once in a while.

The chocolate here is beautiful. The name Silky oak is perfect for this silky chocolate that just melts in your mouth. If you love fine chocolate this place is worth a visit.

My family and I go to the silky oak cafe at least twice a month. The food is always at a very high standard and their iced chocolate is the best I have ever had. We always take visitors there with the knowledge that the food will always be fresh and tasty Even my young grandchildren ask to go there... More

We did the triple dipper tour where we started in the museum which had some very interesting old school chocolate tins and information on the history of the cocoa bean and some random old Cadbury adds that had John Cleese in one 😂 the lady behind the counter was lovely. Then we had a nice drink and slice at the... More

We called in to the Chocolate Company during our “Hooters” tour. There was quite a range of chocolate as well as knowledgeable people to talk to. The chocolate was good quality and we had pleasant afternoon teas for several days after. Worth the journey if you like your chocolate to get some real hand made gems.

I am sure you had a great time out and about with Hooters. Thank you for coming back for extra afternoon teas. We hope you took enough chocolate away with you to keep you going for some time. More

Thank you for your review. We are working on some new flavours for the gelato and sorbet range. We are adding to the items that we sell all the time. Currently have added more of the Blackball products. They make the best sausages, and black puddings. More

Overall we found the history of chocolate a fascinating read and experience, with a great learning experience for us. However, we found the store a little difficult to find using a GPS as the address in the brochure we had didn't match the actual address of the GPS coordinates listed in another brochure. We then relied on the old fashioned... More

We are really pleased you enjoyed our museum. Chocolate has been around for 3,000 years, and certainly has a wide history. Unfortunately someone changed how we were found via GPS, so now it shows as Links Road Hastings. More
