Maybe it's because it's winter, but we were disappointed with this market. There's a nice range of fresh produce and stalls selling honey, olive oil etc, but for the full market experience go to Hastings on a Sunday morning.

Lovely selection of local produce and food including honey and meats. It is an urban market, so a smaller version of the main Sunday Hastings market. If you have the time or are in Hawkes Bay on a Sunday, I suggest going to the Hastings...More

With so many organic 'places' the feeling of health prevails, and you see a lot of radiating faces. Still, quite pricey.

At the end of the Napier CBD, next to Clive Square, you'll find this nice little farmers market. Its not massive but if you're looking to by some local produce or grab a coffee then its perfect. Worth checking out if your a tourist.

This bijou food market is limited to local producers (within 100km) and must be presented by them, so you get to know all about their products. It may be small, but the products are fantastic. The dishy ladies at the flower stall have some unusual...More

My highlight was the Te Mata figs stall - interesting chat, lots to try, bought fig salami & chutney. Mostly it's food for later, but there are bacon sandwiches, coffee, and bread/baked goods. Live music. Could do with some more seating, and more sellers would...More
