Yes, You will need to take one of the first free shuttles into the I-site (about 5 minutes). We will collect you from there. We guarantee to get you back in time. As long as you catch one of the first shuttles if we have any doubts about getting you back we will tell you and refund any money paid.

Hi Robyn Yes, we have a cruise ship package. Unfortunately you will only have time for the Grade 2 float trip. Hi Thanks for your enquiry. Yes the Grade 3 has some genuine grade 3 rapids. It starts of with lower rapids and then builds up. We also swim rapids and walk into a gold mine. If your son is adventurous the guides will give him a bit bigger ride and a little more action. We have not had anyone disappointed yet. I hope this answers your question. Hi Ruby, I apologise for missing this question. Yes we have age limits. Firstly for safety and secondly for enjoyment levels. Recommended minimum age for the grade 2 float trip is 5 years. For the grade 3 is 12 years. We can alter the Grade 3 minimum age down a little if the river is at lower flow but it will be at the trip leaders and operation managers discretion. The younger ones may have to walk the biggest rapid. Safety comes first. On the Grade 5 we state a 16 year minimum age. We really need all people to understand the consequences and be able to react when asked to by the guides. Safety is paramount. If your child is a little more into extreme activity the guides are great at accessing that and will cater for it on the lower grades.

Hi I would advise that the grade 5 would definitely be out. As there is the possibility of crashes and people leaping around the boat as the guide calls the "overs" etc. I would also advise that the grade 3 is a risk as sometimes the unforeseen bump and crash can throw people around. The grade 2 float trip should be OK. However it is only a float trip designed for young families (minimum age of 5). Another option if you are coming with friends, who are on the bigger trips, is to travel with the bus to the put-in and then down to the take-out. There will be a couple of hours wait but the trip is quite scenic and the driver usually has a lunch and if conditions are right will go fishing.
