Lovely park set on the edge of the Waikato river, with walking paths along the river and through the park. Beautiful old stone bridge over the creek and lots of fabulous plants and trees full of birdlife.

Free and close parking on Memorial Dr. ... Nice wheelchair accessible pathways to the park and to the river. Great place to take the kids, with water features, playgrounds and some birds in an aviary to see. Free public toilets available nearby.
