Our family of 6 children and 6 adults enjoyed the day out. The bird house entertained family with a variety of birds turning on their charm. The walking paths were manageable for our toddlers and the 2 pushchairs with babies. Enjoyable and worth the effort.

Allow at least half a day to see everything. There is a lot of walking along pathways to view animals and birds

Hamilton zoo is well kept and the animals look fairly healthy (except those from Africa!) Generally average zoo that provides adequate entertainment for young kids

Enjoyed the educational talk from Lauren about the girraffe and wetland. My children were very appreciative that she took the time out to talk with them. We loved the open bird avery where the little parrots would follow us around. Enjoyed the family day out....More

We love Hamilton Zoo. The animals look like they are well looked after and unstressed if that makes sense. Kids love it too. More parking would be helpful especially during school holidays and maybe a night time experience.
