Would highly recommend the Hamilton zoo. We went with school age children in slight drizzle and periods of rain. Due to the wonderful trees and vegetation we did not get wet. The volunteers were informative and the animals lovely. Would highly recommend with a picnic.

I just didn't find it that great. We went to see the Zebras who were so far away it was pretty disappointing for my 4yo. The rhinos are cool. It's a small place and charges as much as a bigger place.

The animals here have a nice holiday set up in Hamilton!! Really well looked after, can see they’re pretty relaxed & happy. Huge areas for them to run around, smaller selection than most zoos but a nice walk around !

We had a great time walking around the zoo. The animals seemed content and it wasn’t over priced. We avoided going in school holidays so we could take our time walking around

Could do with improvements, getting very old and still looks the same it did 20 years ago, which is sad.

Alway a popular choice for our family. I have taken my children and now grandchildren to the zoo for the last 30 years. Always an interesting and relaxing place to go. Take a picnic and enjoy the surroundings with family.
