We love Hamilton Zoo. The animals look like they are well looked after and unstressed if that makes sense. Kids love it too. More parking would be helpful especially during school holidays and maybe a night time experience.

We went here on a weekend afternoon (albeit in August so not peak period) and were surprised by how quiet it was. It's not the biggest zoo for sure, but it has some different animals we've not seen before and is a joy to walk...More

We had a great time with all the 'highlight' animals out and about during our visit. We were fortunate to get great views of the Tigers, chimps and spider monkeys. My 4 and 6 year old nephews had a fantastic time
