A fantastic little zoo, and not too expensive to go to. The animals are all in great condition, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our favourite part was getting to feed the giraffes. The cafe makes a great coffee too.

Had a great morning here, beautiful park & good variety of animals. We timed it well as the animals were being fed (mid morning) so they were very active which is always a bonus!

Our young family had a pleasant experience and the activity filled in an afternoon for us. Rhino and giraffe herds are impressive. We had meals from the onsite cafe which were reasonably priced and satisfactory.

We visited the zoo after a day trip to Hamilton. It has large enclosures and the up close experiences you can have with the animals are great. We are definitely going to return

A wonderful zoo! Set amongst what looks and feels like a huge park, there are a great range of animals to walk around and enjoy. It might not have elephants or lions etc. but there are plenty of other great creatures to look at. We...More

We arrived late. There were quite a few visitors. We walked for ages and there was plenty to see. The cafe’ cues can be long. Recommend to go early. Nice place for families, couples and picnics. I prefer this place to the Gardens.

Totally agree with all those comments. Twoish hours. Mind you twenty minutes with a kaka parrot on your shoulder sniffing your perfume on your neck, under your chin and down your shirt front just can't be missed. It also... More
