Something Classic for the Whole Family!

A classic car museum with something to cater for every member of the family. Come and have a look at the cars of yesteryear which are sure to bring back memories.

We have over 60 cars on display and an extensive collection of petrol memorabilia - signs, tins, petrol pumps, pedal cars and vintage pin ball machines.

Plenty of free parking onsite.

We have a 1950's diner in the building too! The Jukebox Diner, serving American classics, modern fare, child friendly options and of course great coffee!

The Classics Museum is a wonderful addition to the list of places that I will strongly advise visitors and residents alike to go and see. There is lots to see and many trips down memory lane to be had. There is an excellent Café too which has friendly helpful staff.

Hamilton itself is dire, but out on the freeway its worth a stop at the car museum. Funky 1950's café with great food. Inside the museum many mainly (not totally) 1950's cars in immaculate condition. Short of Invercargill possibly best car museum in NZ.

The standard of the food and drinks was very high. The cars were in very good condition and displayed well, as were all the other exhibits. Old petrol bowsers, hubcaps and even a caravan

If you are a lover of cars and especially old cars this is the place to be! It is a great experience and after a wpnder and ponder around the cars you can have a bite to eat at the Juke Box.

A large range of vehicles down through the years. Excellent condition. Cars, motor bikes and push bikes with small me of the more unusual. Great for the family.

Have been here three times now and okay I'm a bit biased, but I'm very interested in old cars and allied items. This Museum is fantastic. Weird and wonderful old cars, some you used to own and others you only dream about, old enamel signs from a bygone era, Petrol pumps like they should be like and much more. And... More

My 11yrs old daughter loved this place, she feels classic cars are very cold, she wanna get in every car but only one is allowed. $28 entry fee for 1 adult and a kid. There are lot of collections of cars, signs, labels and posters. After that, sit down at the very 70s cafe, It is a good place for... More

We visited with our teenage sons and found the museum small but enjoyable - was just such a shame you need to buy tickets at the Jukebox Diner as they are really dropping the ball with regards to presenting the Classics Museum in an appropriate manner. Maybe the diner wants to have minimum staff and short hours over the holiday... More
