About
Something Classic for the Whole Family! A classic car museum with something to cater for every member of the family. Come and have a look at the cars of yesteryear which are sure to bring back memories. We have over 60 cars on display and an extensive collection of petrol memorabilia - signs, tins, petrol pumps, pedal cars and vintage pin ball machines. Plenty of free parking onsite. We have a 1950's diner in the building too! The Jukebox Diner, serving American classics, modern fare, child friendly options and of course great coffee!

So much more than just cars
May 2021
Our group of Seniors from South Auckland just spent a delightful day visiting the Classic Cars Museum in Hamilton. So much to see; from cars, motorcycles and bicycles to doll carriages - anything with wheels and so much more memorabilia. All around I heard, " We used to have one of those when I was younger". Jukebox Diner looks just the way you imagined it would and staff go out of their way to look after their guests. Just an all round great place to visit.

Fabulous slice of motoring, caravanning and oil company history
Jan 2021
FANTASTIC collection of classic cars, motor memorabilia, classic caravans, and tributes to the oil companies and how they have changed over time.

Easily could loose a few hours if you are a great car enthusiast.
So much to see and read.

So many cars and memorabilia in a very well laid out space. Well worth a visit. The diner attached is nostalgic. Highly recommended.

You can view, but not drive!, classic cars from around the world.

It is great to see some of the older classic cars from around the world. It will bring back memories of childhood. There is also a Retro 50's Diner attached to the museum for drinks/snacks. Well worth the visit.
Recommended for adults and teenage children, younger ones may get too restless in the museum.

I've become a 'car person'!

We went here for my partners birthday (he loves old cars etc), and despite not knowing anything about cars etc myself we both had so much fun! The amount there was to see & learn about was amazing & there were more than 'just cars' to look at. The retro diner attached was also fab. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arose.

Visited this museum along with adjoining cafe. Wonderful old cars, scooters and bikes. Also a lot of memorabilia. Well worth seeing. Cheaper entrance fee for seniors. Motorhome parking in car park available overnight. Nice coffee and food in cafe. Excellent decor.

Met up with a good friend of mine.

Neither of us had been to this Cafe before.
The layout was bright an spacious. It had a 1950's & 60's feel about it. The theme was the cars of the era and Elvis.

The food selection was reasonable. The coffee was hot, which was a plus.
Unfortunately unable to go into the museum. Maybe some other time.

A pleasant place for a coffee and a chat.

We sat in a booth ( like in the milk bars of years ago.)
It was pleasant.

One of the best automotive displays we have ever seen. We stumbled on it as we were passing. Credit to the owners and people who maintain it. If you are an automotive nut we would highly recommend this museum. Hours of awesome viewing!
