Something Classic for the Whole Family! A classic car museum with something to cater for every member of the family. Come and have a look at the cars of yesteryear which are sure to bring back memories. We have over 60 cars on display and an extensive collection of petrol memorabilia - signs, tins, petrol pumps, pedal cars and vintage pin ball machines. Plenty of free parking onsite. We have a 1950's diner in the building too! The Jukebox Diner, serving American classics, modern fare, child friendly options and of course great coffee!

    Amazing !
Wow this place is amazing! So thoughtfully and beautifully laid out, we could of spent hours walking around here reading about the history and restoration if it weren’t for our little kids wanting to touch everything. An amazing collection, worth stopping by to look

Must stop and smell the cars
The collection is well maintained, with vehicles still being able to be driven. The collection of all things car related is extensive. For the space it's compact and well put together, easy to navigate without being stagnant.

    Great collection
Amazing collection of cars , well worth a visit . We loved it …. Diner was a disappointment, after seeing the leaflet was excited but tables and floor was dirty , juke box was hooked to a iPod playing music which u could only hear if u went up to it … Girls in the diner needed some help .. Diner definitely lets the place down , it could be really good in there , id have the music on so you can actually feel like your in a 1950s diner

    You gotta go!
Well I loved everything about this place from the entrance through the diner to the detail of the museum. It was fabulous! If you love cars then this is the place for you. Also they have everything associated with the industry and is quite a blast from the past

Good museum of cars and related parphernalia and with a nice cafe
This is a great smaller museum. It has a good collection of some interesting cars and the associated paraphernalia like petrol pumps, cans and signs. From a personal point of view I was disappointed to see fewer European cars, these being mostly American, perhaps not surprisingly. A lovely hour spent here and then a nice meal in the café outside.

This museum is set out well, great lighting and lots of smaller items as well as all the older cars and kept in great condition. An older family member greeted us at the door... nice touch. We must have spent about an hour in there just wondering - lovely!! We would have stopped to eat in the classic diner attached but as we live in Hamilton had already eaten.

Had one day in Hamilton and from trip advisor reviews decided to visit here and was not disappointed, it was great. Entry is via the 1950s diner, then into the museum that has a huge range of cars, motorcycles and other automobile memorabilia. Very well presented, good flowing layout and some very rare cars. A most enjoyable visit, highly recommended

We went here for my partners birthday (he loves old cars etc), and despite not knowing anything about cars etc myself we both had so much fun! The amount there was to see & learn about was amazing & there were more than 'just cars' to look at. The retro diner attached was also fab. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arose.

Drove past the Classic Car Museum for years thinking “we must go in”. Finally took kids during school holidays and what a lovely surprise it was. Beautifully presented and very clean. Full of history and interesting pieces even for the non-car enthusiast. 5 Kids aged 4-11 and all really enjoyed the experience.
Diner had a lovely variety of a la-carte and cabinet meals. Good selection and prices for kids food. Play area for little ones and a cool car for the older kids to sit and play in. Well done Classics Museum.

Only visited due to the rain and was so pleasantly surprised by this collection. Some really nice cars on display. All were in either very good up to excellent or even concourse standard.
Motor cycles are also part of this very nice collection.
It’s not just the cars. The auto memorabilia that adorns the walls and spaces is amazing in itself.
This collection evokes so many memories for me. Real value for money visit.

If you watch Wheeler Dealers or Classic Sheds on SKY TV, then you will know this is way above those programmes, with no disrespect to those programmes.

This is the Best Kept Secret of the North Island. There are GEMS of the 30.'s, 40's, 50's, 60's,70's, 80's, 90's, and newer.

The Classic Red, with White Insert Side Panels, Corvette, is a classic everyone wants to own.

That was the Entree, the Main Ev ent was what ever you Wanted to experience.

From 1930 Packards, to Classic Cars from all eras, this is a MUST see if you are into cars with a heritage. Or Diners from the 60's which evoke Betty Boop or "Happy Days".

FANTASTIC collection of classic cars, motor memorabilia, classic caravans, and tributes to the oil companies and how they have changed over time.

Easily could loose a few hours if you are a great car enthusiast.
So much to see and read.
