Taitua Arboretum is a 20-hectare (49-acre) tree collection just out of Hamilton City. The Arboretum has several lakes and a good network of walking tracks. It is a popular spot for Sunday afternoon picnics and weekend weddings.

Just on the out skirts of Hamilton , good place to take the dogs walking , but need to be strictly keep on leashes as there’s plenty of chickens around. The carpark is chook haven !! Plenty of parking and nice walk around the grounds....More

A wonderful nature walk for the family. Pushchair friendly, fenced and wide paths. Water features, birdlife and beautiful mature trees. The park is located alongside a far so the opportunity to see cows is a plus for the kids. Not unusual to see the odd...More

Lots to see and do. Spent 1 1/2 hours just walking around. Unfortunately it started raining. Chooks following us around. Grandson loved it.

No-roughing it walk amongst beautiful trees. Areas are developed in a really appealing way. Dogs are alliwed on leashes. Tranquil area with easy to walk / jog on path that is well maintained. A real pleasure.

Hi not sure, it is run by the council so I would ask them. Would get great shots at spring and fall due to the colours. There is stock around so it may be no. Cheers
