It is a small museum but i well worth a visit if you find yourself in the Tron on a wet day. it has some cool Maori exhibits and a very interesting selection of photographs documenting the Christchurch earthquake and aid efforts.

Free entry to the Museum & great exhibitions. Stroller & Wheelchair accessible. You can even borrow a stroller for free. Downstairs has two exhibitions for kids with tactile objects (entry fee about 5 NZD for an adult)

New Fonterra exibition and new Light and planet experience. Extra charges but well worth a visit. Perfect for small children to rush around but great for older children and adults.

Interesting place to visit rain or shine, to learn about New Zealand Culture. And certain times of the year they have set exhibitions. Good place to take children. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Small cost to enter exhibitions, and was a good coin donation last time...More

Had some good displays and was a nice place to fill in some time on a rainy day. We only looked in the areas that were free, there were two other displays on at the time that were interactive and you could pay to see....More
